Finn is wearing the cone of shame after a tussle with a raccoon the other night, but I am SO HAPPY that there is an emergency vet service in Petaluma now! We love our regular vet, but when they didn't have the space to see Finn yesterday they recommended TruVet. The staff were fantastic, I loved the vet, even though due to Covid measures I never saw him. He put me at ease right away by saying "First let me just say Finn is adorable". Have tried many of the local vets over the years. These folks, while overworked, are the best around. The support staff also incredible.

After calling TEN vets Saturday morning with no luck we were referred to Tru Vet in Petaluma. They did a great job fixing up our doggie and it was extremely reasonably priced! Thank you, Gracie is on the mend!

Long wait for emergency but the price was good and loved Dr Tucker. Very nice and keeps in contact during the whole procedure since you can not go in with Covid.

For some reason you can't see any vet for weeks since the Covid puppy became a thing. My dog Levi had a bad cut on his foot so I decided to take him to Truvet and risk the ER cost since I couldn't get an appointment anywhere else. They were busy too, but the front desk was so helpful and informative, the wait wasn't very painful. Dr.Tucker called shortly after they took Levi back and laid out my options with cost in mind. Thank you for taking care of my little Frenchie after she hurt her back. The tech came out to the car and was very sweet and caring taking my little girl in for the exam. Then Dr Kruger was very detailed explaining the tests she put her through and what treatment was needed as well as what to look for in the future ( all over the phone while I waited in the car of course). They didn't perform any unnecessary tests and that kept my bill at a reasonable amount. Overall an excellent experience! Thank you!

I am not someone to typically write a review but we had such a great experience we wanted to share. We brought our dog here because we thought she had something stuck in her throat. All of the staff was very nice but we were most impressed with Dr Sam Tucker. He was very honest throughout the entire process, did not try and push us in any direction while giving us all of our options. I can't say enough wonderful things about this new specialty and emergency animal hospital. It's located in Petaluma which gives us more options in the county and it's locally owned by lifelong Sonoma county internal medicine veterinarians. They quite literally saved my dogs life. She had a major addisonian crisis and nearly died and they saved her life and I am relieved to say I am bringing her home. Excellent care and caring staff made this horrific event manageable for me. Highly recommend.

Our veterinarian could not get us in for a small emergency and they recommended TRUVET. We contacted them through their website and they called us within 2 minutes. We went to see them and their service was the epitome of professional and in addition the vet and vet assistants showed compassion to our dog and to us. I have been a pet owner for many years and had the need for emergency services. TRUVET will now be my go to vet for emergencies. I highly recommend them.
