I tried 3 different times for my dog to be seen from Thursday to Monday and each time was unsuccessful. The first time I was told it'd be a 5 hour wait and they called after 7 hours to say their computer system was down and to try again tomorrow. The next day I was told again it'd be a 5 hour wait and was not called back. The last time I was told they would not be able to see my dog at all! We triage and assess every patient to determine the severity of the pet’s condition. If your pet was assessed and deemed stable, then they will be seen in the order that they arrived. I Called and the rude receptionist told me they couldn't see my puppy (understandable, they were full) then when I calmly asked what I could do in the meantime to help my dog until the morning since the other 2 vet hospitals also were full she gave me zero help and just said to keep calling around. Hi Dylan, we hope your puppy is doing okay! You may not be aware of this but it is actually illegal in California for us to give advice over the phone for a pet we have not seen before. The best we can do is advise you to seek help for your pet. I hope you were able to get help for your puppy.
I called them at 7:05 last night, explained that my dog had a fever and a thistle causing her pain and was informed that they are NOT 24 hour , they were closing at 8:00pm and couldn't accept my pet. The following morning I called at 8:28am. They told me to come over and that the wait time was appropriately 1 hour. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone! I had the WORST vet experience of my dog mom life! I brought my dog in for a wound on his paw. I was told the wait was Approx. 1 hour. We waited 2 hours before the nurse came and got him. The nurse told me they would take his vitals, do a physical examination and call me within 10 mins. with more information/ a diagnosis. We are very sorry for your poor experience. To clarify, you were waiting to be seen on ER and while you were waiting, two dogs were brought in on stretchers that were very ill, one close to death. Those pets needed to be triaged ahead of your pet. We understand you were concerned about your pet but we are not able to tolerate poor language or disrespect in any fashion.
