Our cat, Zaz (somewhere around 23) is sometimes a bit fragile and had gotten a little wobbly. Just when we thought we'd have to lose him, Dr. Takahashi opined that 'he had a few more miles on him yet' and prescribed both amoxicillin and hydration. Worked! Two weeks later it's as though Zaz was never wobbly and certainly no longer looked dehydrated. Now he's back to playing. They're very good at diagnosing at the clinic!

I procrastinated and needed to get my pup a bordetella vaccine so that she could continue going to the dog park. I didn't want to go to her regular vet as they are always super busy (it's an emergency hospital). SM Pet Medical was able to schedule her for the next day. I went ahead and had them do her annual checkup also. She's very skittish and they were very patient with her and were also very thorough. The front desk was also really nice. Recommend.

This is the best vet group we've ever had. They took care of our Kiwi until it was her time to leave this world. They even sent us a sympathy card and made us feel as well as we possibly could under those circumstances. Now Stella goes there. She loves to go and recognizes the various employees. She never balks at going in. Good value too.

Biscuit just had her first visit with doctor Isaacs. I can't say enough about the warm, friendly and efficient staff. Dr. Isaacs had a wealth of much wonderful information about my 11year old adopted fur baby. Another meaningful quality about this clinic is their understanding of costly pet care and they never tried to sell sell me any product or service that isn't vital to my little ones health. They are amazing. I am so happy I found them.the entire staff and dr. Tolliver are exactly what people want in a vet. They are caring, understanding and take very good care of my dogs. I am a new customer however I am just thrilled that I found them and they will be taking care of my dogs for a long time.

I've been taking my pup here since she was a baby and they have been nothing but consistently great. Is it expensive? Somewhat. But let's be real... if you live in West Los Angeles MOST vets aren't cheap. All of the doctors (I love Dr Tolliver!) have always been sweet, compassionate, honest and don't try to over sell anything to you. The front desk girls have always been very pleasant to me as well and i'm honestly kind of annoying I call a lot with questions, concerns, etc. We got a new puppy and she had her first visit ... read more

The dog in my care had a heart attack a block away from Pet Medical. I got him there within minutes and 5 seconds after I walked in with my unconscious dog, THE ENTIRE STAFF MOBILIZED TO SAVE HIS LIFE. They did just that. End of story. I'm eternally grateful to the entire staff at Pet Medical. Lee

We have been taking our rescue kitty here for almost a year now and we have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the veterinarians, technicians and staff. Dr. Yuen in particular has been so great: he's exceptionally caring, professional and always gives a rundown of the available courses of treatment without pressuring you to choose one over another. I have to send a shout out to the wonderful, caring staff at this vet office. I've been dealing with major surgeries for my shihtzu and they could not be more loving and caring. Robin has especially been so helpful and guided me through the maze of aftercare. Dr. Hernandez and Dr. Bijlani are the BEST!!!!
