I see a few of the same type reviews on here. It looks like someone got upset and is mobilizing their friends against the business, on yelp. Here is my retort, and review: The vets here are great people. They have always been patient and respectful with me. And here's the important part; And I with them. Every procedure and test that I've had done on my pets here were explained before hand, including price, which I inquired about before, so I wasn't caught off guard when the bill was due. I took my new kitten for her first exam at the Santa Monica Pet Medical Center and had a wonderful experience. I requested an appointment online at the end of the day and received a phone call to confirm an appointment the following morning. I was able to get an appointment within a few days. For new patients they recommend arriving 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. My appointment was for Saturday at 8:30 and I was swiftly checked in and into an exam room within 15 min of arriving. I've been bringing my dogs here for 25 years and I'm very happy with the care they have received. We mostly see Dr. Hernandez, Dr. George, and Dr. Yuan but we've probably seen all the vets at one time or another and they are all wonderful- as is the rest of the staff! You can't go wrong here!

I cannot say enough positive things about this pet medical center. Drs. Isaacs and Yuan have exceeded my expectations with their patience, care, obvious compassion for animals, and willingness to spend extra time with me until all my questions are answered. The staff that supports the doctors are excellent. Front desk staff are immensely kind and helpful, and the Vet Techs are intelligent, knowledgeable, and wonderful to my pets. I recommend this entire organization without reservation.

I have been to several vets in the 12 years of owning dogs and this one by far is the most compassionate and caring I've been to. All the vets call and check up after each appointment to make sure you're comfortable and the dogs or animals are comfortable. I had to put one of my dogs to sleep and Dr. Tolliver was the absolute sweetest and most compassionate vet ever. She was busy and couldn't take the appointment but even came in during her surgery appointment just to console me and say sorry.

We were Refered by a friend and neighbor. It was our first time with a new puppy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Dr Annie Hernandez was lovely and full of good energy she is now our new petriatician. So happy!!

We have been going to Pet Medical for over 10 years, now. I can't imagine going anywhere else! The staff is amazing, from the receptionists to the techs to the docs. Our primary doctor is Annie Hernandez. She is just a love. Really cares for our cats. Cared for our Topaz at the end of her life. And has since cared for Hank, Tennessee, Gracie and will now be caring for Dorito. We had an emergency with Gracie today and saw Helene Tolliver. She was as great as any of the others we have seen. My dog Gabe got quick and decisive action when I brought him in with a high temperature. They knew what to do including sending him to a 24 hr hospital because he needed to be watched overnight. Gabe is on the road to recovery. Thank you Dr. Yuan and office folks.
