I visited the Santa Monica Pet Med Center a few days ago and needed to say how wonderful their care was for my dog. First of all I must say their infection prevention protocols were spot on. I waited in my car as instructed. A friendly staff member with PPE came to my car to take my dog in. Doctor Bijlani called my cell phone to discuss the reason for my visit. Unfortunately, I had to put my dog down recently. I called this place because they were close by. As sad as it was to put my dog down I feel like I couldn't have picked a better place to do it. Dr. Greenbaum was sooo sweet and welcoming. She really made me and my dog Lady feel as best we could in that moment. I even received a card from her that had wildflower seeds that I can plant in memory of Lady! I thought that was really special. Dr. Annie Hernandez is total package. As a health care provider myself, I know how important, and yet rare it is, to be knowledgeable, kind, re-assuring and practical. Dr. Hernandez is all parts. I highly recommended her and the uber accommodating staff at Santa Monica Pet Medical Center. Ziggy appreciates it!

I am so pleased with all that they do here! While it feels a little hectic, all of the staff really care about pets. I first brought my 2 rescued kitties for check ups and needed to come back a few weeks ago for dental cleaning for Coco. Dr Yuan is the GREATEST! He explains everything thoroughly and answers all my crazy questions( without making me feel crazy!) Recently he performed a dental cleaning for Coco. SMPMC provided excellent care when my pet needed a growth removed from her belly. Their staff and doctors are very friendly and competent. They went above and beyond to keep me informed as to what was going on and delivered prompt service at a fair price. I highly recommend coming here.

Pet Medical Center is a long time Santa Monica business. I've been going here since 1997. Dr. George has been our veterinarian; I love that he can take good care of my dog from the time I rescue them through their old age. One received acupuncture for her arthritis. One had a miserable skin problem that Dr. George and I worked through with excellent results. And, my prior dogs lived happy lives until aged 16 (I attribute it to good veterinary care and they were not breed dogs, but mix breed rescues). Because they lived... read more

I first went in for a free shelter adoption check up. And so glad I did. Santa Monica Pet Medical is the best! My puppy (Sprinkles) sees Dr. Greenbaum which has been amazing. Everyone there is always so sweet, helpful and amazing. We are so lucky we found them. We have been there a few times and every time they are wonderful, and have the best advice for all my new dog mom questions.

We were so grateful to get a walk-in appointment on the day our sheepdog was attacked by a pit bull. Our regular vet was too busy to see us. We were treated respectfully and the vet who saw us was so kind and professional. They found several bites on my dog but they said we were best to let them heal without stitches. We came in concerned we might need stitches so that was a relief. They gave us antibiotics and pain killers and recommended we keep the cone on our dog to keep him from licking the bites. When I moved to west LA. I was looking for a great veterinarian for my dog Gracie. She is the love of my life. They are very kind and really care about her well being. She had to be boarded last month because I was in the hospital for a week. They gave her a lot of attention. Today she got her the teeth deep cleaned. It was a little pricey but they did a great job. Through the day they would keep her company and when I picked her up she was a little out of it
