Communication is lacking. I have not received any call backs, but instead get partial email communication. I brought my dog in for mass removal, as this is expensive and took all I had to meet the original estimate, I stressed that all post op care needed to be included. At time for staple removal, I was told there would be additional costs and that I would receive a call to review cost. Not only have I never received an estimate or explanation, I don't even get return call. I only received a cryptic email that simply said n... read more

They treated my two elderly bunnies with such love and care. Super knowledgeable about all things bunny!! I trust them completely. The only thing is our appointments consistently start late, so don't schedule the appointment if you have somewhere to be in a hurry after

My cat has fleas. Before even booking an appointment, it cost $110 that they say is a deposit. They asked me to also bring a stool sample. After the confirmed diagnosis, they recommended a pill for killing existing fleas, a topical for preventing future fleas, a spray and/or fogger to kill any fleas in the house, a rabies vaccine, other vaccines, and a topical dewormer. I went for the pill flea killer and the topical flea killer and expected my bill to be $70ish. They said it was $260, which was $110 for the exam, $70ish f... read more

"great" place if all you are looking for is a referral. I called about a possible infection and all they could do was to give me a couple of phone numbers. Like the Lakeside Yellow Pages

This place used to be great a few year's ago. I brought my cat there many times. I recently got a puppy and brought her there and both times were a shit show. We waited forever. She got spayed and they called me letting me know a different dog was doing well and needed to be microchipped. Not even my dog! Then they preceded to call me later that day and let me know she was ready to be picked up and was doing well. And of course she was not ready. And I sat there for almost an hour until they finally told me her temp was low.... read more

Nice employees do not excuse the incompetence and greed of this business. My dog has severe allergies but I can maintain his well-being with Apoquel. My prescription was running out and I called lakeside to renew his prescription, which took five days. My dog went without medicine for two days but it was enough for his body to fall apart and for him to start trying to tear off his skin. I called lakeside and they told me they could see me the next afternoon. The next day I was at the vet for two and a half hours, but I didn'... read more

My pet rat was spayed and died a few days later. Probably because stitches or surgery weren't done right. Her sister was devasted and depressed for that whole week. Wouldn't stop running around her body in frantic desperation, trying to nudge her away. She was my heart rat.

Been taking my dogs here for some time, but recent experiences have been poor to say the least. Long wait times, small staff, judgmental vets. When we informed them we would be going elsewhere their receptionist updated our records with a blatant lie to make us look bad to future vets.
