"Last week, my cat got sick and I took her to Irvine Valley Veterinary Clinic. They kept her for 3 days and handed me a bill of $10,000. Before starting the treatment, they mentioned that they could get support from different aid organizations and maybe half of the amount could be covered by them. I accepted, and the treatment began. I got my cat back in the same condition, and now we are continuing her treatment at home. However, when I went to get a serum for her that we needed to administer at home, I paid $105, but later... read more

This had to be the rudest most non-empathetic facility I'm guessing possibly anywhere. My poor kitten was killed about a month ago. Because it was after hours, I ended up here. Pet cemetery would be better service. They charged me for her private cremation however, I have yet to receive her remains. No one answers the phone and if you do have the pleasure of meeting one of the staff, they are much more concerned with discussing their social life with their co-workers than they are at assisting, let alone comforting you... read more

I came in here today and chose this place because of the reviews in yelp of them. But, to be honest I didn't like it. Maybe because my pet I came in here for cremation was a reptile.. and not a dog or something greater as to why it didn't matter or I don't know. But it didn't feel they were caring and it mattered. I expected more coming in for a cremation of my beloved pet. All they did was make me type in my name as a "signature" in the consent form. And didn't even ask me what package I wanted or what did I want. Just aske... read more

Review of Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital I am utterly devastated by the experience I had at Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital. My beloved dog, Kimchi, tragically passed away due to their negligent and profit-driven practices. Despite having dog insurance and providing them with $450, they failed to prioritize her well-being and instead focused on extracting as much money from me as possible. After receiving subpar treatment, Kimchi's condition worsened, and I was met with indifference when I reached out for help. Their ... read more

I took my dog there because something was wrong with her. they quoted me $1200 for x rays, blood work etc. since it's the beginning of the month i said I only have $450 but I want to know what's wrong because she was breathing heavy and wouldn't move so they gave her some fluids and a shit for nausea and said she should be fine. I was kind of upset how it's clear something was wrong and they just rushed me out of there and charged me $450. I got home and she got worse which might have been from the medication they gave her s... read more

Be aware. Your pet will not be examined in your presence here. So you have no idea what procedures/tests were carried out. We took our bunny here one day. After taking the bunny in a back room and us waiting for quite a while, they said they didn't know what was wrong with the bunny but provided three treatment options (one being over $800). We paid the $185 consultation fee and took the bunny to a place in YL. The other place checked the bunny in our presence and provided a diagnosis. They gave us a recipe for a home re... read more

The primary care is okay. They dismissed my dog's booty scooting saying that French Bulldogs just do that when there was actually a real problem. I had multiple appointments regarding this issue costing over $2000 in vet visits. And to have no solution in the end. They also try to upsell you all the products and treatments they can. Even charge you for things that your dog will need in the future. And they are very pricey. I wish I wouldn't have purchased their $400 yearly membership, which isn't a bad price compared to othe... read more

A trip to IVVH that led to disappointing treatment and death of our beloved pet. Our dog has been suffering from liver disease but was in overall good energy when we arrived at IVVH on Sunday afternoon for a fairly straightforward procedure to remove fluid build up. She was deemed non-critical and sat for HOURS while they tended to one patient after another who walked in the door after us. After an initial assessment and of course, offering us over $2000 in different tests, treatments, etc that we ultimately declined (and pr... read more

The only reason this veterinarian practice is receiving one star is because the staff were super sweet and kind. Apart from that sadly everything else was not good. My dog was very sick with vomiting and diarrhea. They diagnosed her with a stomach ulcer and gave her medication for it. At no point did they give her anti vomiting or ant diarrhea medication. They also did not test for pancreatitis even though her symptoms suggested she might have it. Over the next 5 days her symptoms got really bad. When I called to say she w... read more
