Get directionsThe staff are very informative, kind, and passionate at what they do. They treated my furry baby with love and kept my mother and I updated as much as they could. I definitely recommend getting the app. They seem to work great at communicating through it and you're able to ask your questions/concerns on there. I've made the drive multiple times for Fontana for both my pets. The service and their attention is well worth the trip.
Such a great experience here! I took my Bitsey in on a Friday night when her regular veterinarian was already gone and then again at 4am in a Saturday and they were ALL so wonderful and compassionate and understanding! How is anybody THAT caring at 4am?!? :) Thank you to all! You give the veterinarian profession a very good name!
Nothing but wonderful things to say about this incredible organization. From the caring staff to the welcoming and calming atmosphere. Thank you for the low stress and positive energy.
Terrible experience, do not recommend -Appointment was at 8AM on a Monday. I stayed until 9:05 despite only having no more than 5mn of facetime with the staff and with no other customer waiting by the front office. No treatment was done/administered, I just waited in a room for the whole time and had to chase staff after not being seen for 20mn. - I was told I could get my cat tested for allergies (skin testing) which was not the case. Only blood testing was available - Pricing for the blood testing (and somehow for the ... read more
horrible experience billing machine was down had wait like an hour for them to fix I didnt get discount for waiting etc never again.
I was advised by multiple staff members to bring my 17 year old cat back for a wound dressing change for her infection that they did a minor procedure on, but each time we returned we were told we were misinformed by the staff and told a new vet consultation was required--despite already paying for the initial one. The initial vet refused to prescribe an alternative antibiotic without $600+ in tests and waiting one week for results, citing "antibiotic resistance," yet still prescribed 35 more pills of the same ineffective a... read more

Dear Samah, We’re truly sorry for the loss of your beloved cat and for the distress you experienced during her care. Losing a pet, especially after many years together, is incredibly painful. Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital presents as an ER, but when my cat Alfred truly needed ER-level care, the basics were missed. We arrived with a 105°F fever and CKD II/III. I handed over his medical history immediately. Hours later I learned no IV fluids had been started--nearly four hours without fluids for a septic, fragile cat. Labs available during care showed a high-risk picture (creatinine 4.1, BUN 42, sodium 166, globulin 5.4, hematocrit falling from ~27% to 20.3%). Instead of a disciplined stabilization and clear pl... read more
This was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I've ever had at a vet. I waited six hours with my dog, and every time staff told me "you're next in line," it turned into, "oh, looks like you'll have to wait another 45 minutes." This happened over and over with zero accountability. My dog was stressed, exhausted, and miserable the entire time. I could hear laughing coming from the emergency room while we sat there, which was infuriating given how many of us were stuck waiting. When it was finally time to... read more

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration you and your dog went through during your visit. Long waits are never easy, and it’s clear from your review that we did not communicate or support you in the way we should have. We’re especially concerned about the interactions you described with our staff and want to assure you that this is not the level of care or professionalism we strive for. We are taking your comments seriously and will be reviewing both our commun... read more
On May 3, I brought my less than 1-year-old cockatiel after she broke her leg in a dog attack. She was still trying to live. I paid $99 for a consult. The doctor said she had a 50% recovery chance and seemed stable. But they didn't start treatment until 7:30 PM. She was discharged at 8:00 PM, then went into distress 15 minutes later. I rushed back--by 8:47 PM, she was gone. Afterward, the hospital claimed I was told she was dying--completely untrue. If I had known, I would've let her pass at home peacefully. The way they ... read more
