I brought my guinea pig in last Friday because of an emergency. He stopped eating and seemed lethargic. There are very few exotics vets, let alone emergency clinics that can see guinea pigs. Right off the bat, I just wanted to say that the following four people impacted me, my pup, and my partner in such a magnificent way that it was unbelievable. We came in due to my pup having a severe emergency and we were so scared and had no idea what to do. The staff are very informative, kind, and passionate at what they do. They treated my furry baby with love and kept my mother and I updated as much as they could. I definitely recommend getting the app. They seem to work great at communicating through it and you're able to ask your questions/concerns on there. I've made the drive multiple times for Fontana for both my pets. The service and their attention is well worth the trip.
Such a great experience here! I took my Bitsey in on a Friday night when her regular veterinarian was already gone and then again at 4am in a Saturday and they were ALL so wonderful and compassionate and understanding! How is anybody THAT caring at 4am?!? :) Thank you to all! You give the veterinarian profession a very good name!

I have come to IVVH Urgent Care a couple times for my mischievous cats, and each time they have been fantastic. My 7-year-old tortoise unfortunately very unexpectedly passed away recently and IVVH handled all of the after-life care for him (examination and having him cremated and returned to me). They were so incredibly kind throughout the entire process and I can't thank them enough for making that terrible situation that much more bearable. Your pets are in good hands here.
Best exotic vet there is in socal! I live in the San Fernando valley and I drive to Irvine for all my exotic emergencies! I had an emergency with my senior bunny and he developed a head tilt within hours. There weren't any doctors in LA that could see him ASAP and the only other option was Irvine. I really couldn't believe this place was for real. In a panic I took my sick bird here and was so impressed by the vets, techs, and staff. Not only were they knowledgeable and professional, but everyone, and I mean everyone, was constantly helpful and kind to both animals and people. I had to take my bird to get fluid treatments every day for a week and I could not for the life of me catch these people having a bad day. The people that work here are angels. My bunny went into GI stasis a few weeks ago and I felt the veterinarian that I rushed her to (closer to where I live) was not thorough. Late in the evening, my bunny started declining and I was panicking because the vet that saw near me was unreachable.
