I don't take my dogs anywhere else but the emergency room because they are the best! all of the veterinarians are highly skilled and very thorough . I never feel like they are trying to gouge me. Yes, they are a little pricier, but at least you know what you're getting and there has never been a mistake. These veterinarians really know their stuff

Business response:

Our cat wasn't eating or using his box so we knew something was wrong. We took him to IVVH and we are so happy that we did. He ended up having kidney problems and the future wasn't looking good for him. The team at IVVH saved his life with all the care and love they provided to our little guy over his three night stay. We are beyond grateful for the attention, care and communication provided by the staff which helped ease our worries. Our little guy is home now and words cannot express how lucky we are to have sent him to IV... read more

I had this review in for awhile, then realized I didn't "POST" it. This clinic was wonderful with my precious Lulu when she was ill and I felt she got prompt and complete care and attention. Lulu is fine now and I was very pleased with her care and the attending vet. I would highly recommend.

Business response:

Lori, Thank you for trusting us with your precious Lulu! We hope she is recovering well. She sure does bring smiles to our staff's faces! Thank you for your review!

My umbrella cockatoo suddenly developed an immediately life threatening condition. I was able to bring her in on a weekend evening for emergency surgery that saved her life. She is recovering perfectly. I am so grateful. The place appears to be very well equipped and everybody was great! I'm so glad I found a vet that knows birds as well as other animals that I can count on in an emergency.

Business response:

Dear Jon, Thank you for entrusting us with your umbrella cockatoo's emergency surgery. We're delighted to hear she's recovering well. Our well-equipped facility and dedicated team are here for all your pet's needs. We appreciate your positive review and look forward to serving you and your pets in the future. Best regards, Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital

I have had a dog my entire life. Just recently I learned that female dogs can have the spay procedure done laparoscopically. Less pain, quick recovery are just two things that make this procedure better than a routine surgery. I searched online and found Irvine Valley Veterinarian Hospital did this type of surgery. It is a specialized procedure and it's difficult to find a veterinarian that can do it. Not knowing anything about the hospital or the people that work there I phoned and got the information about the surgery... read more

Took my dog because she had a bone stuck in between her palate. We took her and left but we got a call she took it off by herself, the veterinarian and other workers were very nice and honest. We really appreciate the honesty they gave us by telling us it came off by itself and not lying to us. Also a very clean place!!

One of our cats collapsed suddenly on Christmas Day. We found this place on Yelp when no other veterinary hospitals were open. The vet tried CPR, but our cat had already died. The vet and the staff were gentle and sympathetic with us because our cat's death devastated us. They went options for water cremation and the different urns and plaques with us. The prices were reasonable. They gave us a chance to give our cat a final goodbye. This was a hard moment for us, but it was made a little easier because of the care and su... read more

I brought my dog in after she got bit by a coyote since my vet didn't have any availabilities. They were very kind and willing to discuss multiple options of treatment without judgment of any final decision. Downside is this hospital is $$$$. They checked up on how she was doing after about a week and a half. Definitely will consider bringing my pup here again for future emergencies.
