Took my Rabbit to get spayed by Dr. Serbin. He was very knowledgeable and caring about my pet. When she wouldn't eat for over 24hrs Dr. Serbin made time in his schedule that day to see her and give her fluids. She is now doing much better every day. I appreciate Dr. Serbin checking in on us and giving me peace of mind while I was worried. Would definitely recommend for spaying of rabbits.
Business response:
Potato did so well for her surgery! We are so happy that she is doing great. Thank you for trusting us with her care!
It sucks that I have to give them a bad review. The staff has always been great and we bring all of our dogs here and even family bring their dogs here but after what happened I won't be doing so anymore. The doctors will give you different prices for testing and when questioning the price and finally agreeing to do it I was waiting over an hour to get a blood test done. Just be careful what prices they provide you it may change when you actually get there Edit to respond to the recent response. We asked 3 different times sp... read more

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I looked over your pet's notes and saw where our doctor recommended both a desert disease profile and urinalysis for his lethargy and erect penis, both of which you declined on the day of services. Both our doctor and technician quoted you the appropriate pricing, but it appears you only heard the pricing for the urinalysis. Desert disease testing is much more comprehensive and does cost more, but gives us more information to accurately treat your pet. We do understand tha... read more
On 9/11/23 I took my 15.5 year old tabby named Champ to Ingleside for humane euthanasia. We were taken into a room immediately upon arrival which I appreciated. There was a think velvety blanket on the exam table/cart and Champ was taken back wrapped up in that blanket to be cath'd. When the tech brought him back to me (not Brandon who did his intake and was great, a different male tech working that day) it looked like Champ was actually being smothered by the blanket, like he couldn't breathe at all because it was on the th... read more
Business response:
We are very sorry for the loss of Champ. I can assure you that Champ was not being smothered as you perceived. We are a certified cat friendly practice and cover cats eyes when walking from our treatment area to the exam rooms and visa versa so they do not become terrified if they see a dog. Most cats are not happy when they see dogs and we take every precaution necessary to make sure every cat has a pleasant and calming experience. Regarding Champ being lifeless and given up, you had brought him in and stated that he was ... read more
I've been taking my kids to this hospital for a few years now and I'm finally taking them elsewhere. I've taken my girl in twice to get her anal glands expressed and both times she ended up with an infection. This last time the vet asked where I had gotten them expressed because only about 5 days post the appointment they were moderately full and infected. When I said I brought her there the room went silent. This leads into my next problem with this place, it is EXPENSIVE. They charged me to have her anal glands expressed a... read more

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am looking at Alice's chart and noticed that she was here on August 18th and her anal glands were not that full and easy to express and you came back 8 days later to have us recheck. I also noticed that Alice is on Apoquel for allergies. Anal glands are sometimes able to fill quickly after an expression and some pets need this service more often than others. Compounded with allergies and a hooded vulva like Alice also has, it can cause sacculitis. Raw diets like the one... read more
My mother posted a review, detailing how this hospital gave me a quote for a specific set of procedures they wanted to do on my dog (bloodwork, urinalysis, x rays, medication, etc..). I decided to do everything the doctor suggested except for a meal plan and x rays. The next day I needed to take my dog back in for x rays, as the doctor advised me to do so if he didn't react well to a certain medication. The price of the x rays that were done that day, plus the cost of everything I agreed to do for my dog the day before still... read more

Thank you for your review. Like I told your mother in her comment that the reason for the upcharge is that you declined everything and so we had to charge you an additional exam fee when you came back in to see the doctor so she could assess your pet. Also, estimates are subject to change. Pet care can be quite expensive, especially when pets eat rocks. We do hope your pet was able to get the care they needed and wish you the best with your future vet visits.
My son who is a college student in AZ took his dog here and it turned out the dog swallowed a foreign object that was causing havoc, vomiting, diarrhea and making him feel lethargic. He had been quoted a price for an x-ray but was charged more than $200 more at the time of payment. When he asked why he was charged more, he was told they misquoted the price and couldn't help him. I realize people need to make a living and certainly not expecting a handout but c'mon! It was your mistake, the kid is a broke college student who ... read more

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately considering that you were not present for any exam that you son brought his dog in for you must have had a slight miscommunication. Initially your son declined services, which is fine, however when he needed to come back for services initially declined so we had to provide more services that were not initially quoted. Pet care is expensive, especially when pet parents allow their pets to eat things that they shouldn't. We apologize that you feel misquoted, but sometimes the initia... read more
I've been bringing my elderly rescue dog here for the past few years and I have been very pleased with the care he has received. The vets and vet techs are extremely kind and gentle. The front office has squeezed my dog in on a fully booked day due to an emergency.
Business response:
Thank you for your very kind review! We are so happy we were able to get your pet in when you needed us most!
Dr. Serbin is HORRIBLE!! Completely misdiagnosed my dog. She had been having trouble breathing and her mouth was bleeding. He told me she had an abscess in her mouth that needed to be taken out/cleaned. Completely ignored my concern about her breathing and said it could be from pain. Then I wanted to schedule her surgery for the abscess and he said we had to wait 3 weeks when my dog was not able to wait that long. Zero attempt to try get her in earlier or anything. We brought her to another vet because dr serbin was rude & h... read more

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Great vets are booked out for a few weeks to get surgical procedures done, and unfortunately it does take a thorough vet putting the pet under anesthesia to look in a dogs mouth. Pets do not typically open their mouths to say "Ah" and typically when pets present with eye issues and bleeding in the mouth, such as yours we can only diagnose so far without anesthesia. We are sorry for the loss of your pet.
Amy, starting visiting Ingleside as a small puppy. I brought Amy home from the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) she was such a tiny little puppy. So cute with stubby little legs. I got her all set up with new bed, new blanket, lots of toys. It was exciting! until she started with a little cough that turned into a choking I might stop breathing any moment cough. It really scared me. I had to find a vet quick. I remembered seeing Ingleside so I called and made an appointment immediately. My poor little baby had ... read more
