I have 4 dogs at various ages so I've seen the staff deal with a variety of issues. I've had nothing but great experiences, from an extremely nervous, energetic dog to my geriatric dog who is beginning to have lots of issues. The vet calls with test results, explaining what they mean and giving me options. I will probably move several miles away within the year but I plan to continue using Ingleside to care for my fur babies.
My experiences with Ingelside staff has been wonderful. They are kind and friendly. They definitely show they care about your pets. I highly recommend Ingelside.
I want to thank Ingelside Animal Hospital, and especially Dr. Childs, for their compassion, ethics, and love for animals, Dr. Childs was able to do a though exam on Gabby after she had anesthesia and with my ok did an xray on the mass she had growing, that is when they found the cancer surrounding her spleen, they could have done her dental surgery and she would later have suffered with the cancer, as it is she went to sleep and never had to suffer, Love you guys, Thanks for loving my Gabby.
My six-year-old persian got into my mum plant and had stomach poisoning. Dr. Bart gave him fluids under the skin an oral prescription antibiotic and a bland diet and after two days he was good as new and happy. A few days later she gave us a call to make sure that he was okay Dr. Bart really goes above and beyond and has always been a fantastic vet.
I have a rottie mix who doesn't particularly like vets nor hospitals. However, his allergies got so bad this year, I had to bring him in. Ingleside Animal Hospital came highly recommended to me, so I decided to check it out. I love it! Dr. Hewitt was amazing in handling my nervous, difficult dog. She was great in taking her time working with him during the exam (which he generally doesn't tolerate but seemed to really like her). Dr. Hewitt was also fantastic in explaining all of my options and worked with me on a treatment ... read more
I have been using Ingleside Animal hosp, for over 10 years, I recently stopped because I found another vet, for my dogs, because he makes house calls. Dr. Serbin is a wonderful Dr. at Ingleside, and I use his service again for my Conure.
Kinda the worse experience for my animals possible. Took two of my cats & were told they didn't know what was going on. They gave me random medication to see "if it worked" ended paying more than $700+ to be told it "may" be this. They all look & act 16. I understand we're in new times, but at this rate I rather not even get a discount & go to my regular vet to make sure my babies are being taken care of. It felt like talking to a high schooler there. One doctor goes on vacation & doesn't let anyone know what would be the ne... read more
Business response:
We’re very sorry to hear how frustrated and disappointed you felt with your experience, and we understand how stressful it is when answers are not immediately clear—especially when it comes to the health of your pets. Veterinary medicine does not always provide instant or definitive diagnoses, particularly in complex or early-stage conditions. Treatment plans are often based on clinical findings, diagnostic results, and response to therapy, and medications may be prescribed as part of a medically appropriate diagnostic and ... read more
Just make sure to check your bill. They over charged me by almost 70.00 for visit fee after telling me what the walk in fee was and then charged me more then quoted. They got us in right away and there was no reason to even charge the $158.00 vs the $79.00 if i would have called prior to walking in. But then when i paid they charged me $217.00 for walk in. So to get a nail cut cost almost $400. just crazy. Sad thing is they do a great job and are very professional and so sweet with our pet, but why try to get ever penny po... read more
Business response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your frustration regarding the visit fee and billing confusion. It’s never our intention to cause any misunderstanding or for our clients to feel misled. Our walk-in appointments do carry a higher fee due to the need to adjust our schedule and accommodate unscheduled care. However, we understand how important transparency is, and we will be reviewing this interaction internally to ensure our pricing is always clearly communicated up front.... read more
This place is garbage. Came in at 2:30 with my dog who's having some stomach issues. Says they are open until three. Already been getting treatment at an animal clinic and she was doing much better and it came back today. I just needed to get some antibiotics to start her back up on and they turned me away, would not even try to squeeze her in. Nothing else open in my area and they absolutely didn't care about my suffering animal.
Business response:
We're very sorry to hear that you had a frustrating experience and that your dog was feeling unwell. We understand how stressful it can be when a pet's condition suddenly worsens, especially close to closing hours. While we always strive to accommodate urgent cases, there are times — particularly near the end of the day — when our team is already committed to patients currently in care, and we may be unable to safely accept additional walk-ins without compromising the quality of care. We genuinely care about every patient ... read more
