Latest experience with family dog with immediate heath concerns . Arrived 7 am , due to another family health issue , left pet for drop off visit when Dr Mohammed was available to treat our dog . Kim the manager was very helpful and understanding. Tech jasmine spent time thoroughly explaining issues , options , health history , and medical information . Dr Smith called to explain the situation ,outcome ,& pickup time . Ty tech staff helped me load the big dog in my truck for safety . This is the second family dog who visits ... read more

After reading so many bad reviews, I am a little perplexed. I had a good experience. I recently moved into the area from north Scottsdale. I needed to find a new vet for my dog as I did not feel like driving 45 minutes to my old place which I was very happy with. I searched on NextDoor to see what people thought were good clinics to go to. The first one I called said they were accepting new patients but the wait list was four months out. My concern was not the deposit at all, I explained my frequent no shows and cancellations were due to me relocating to Florence. Also, she did not place the cone on him ...she handed it to me after jumping each time my dog moved and told me how to put it on him. My follow up was 48 hours later and I said he was adjusting to the cone well but it was too soon to see any updates to his eyes or ears, which were never examined, swabbed or anything. This place has gone really downhill. Been a customer for 14 years and customer service has just been terrible over the last few years. Quite unfortunate. Spent so much money at this place and they wouldn't see my hurt dog over being 10 minutes late. I don't live close by and was running slightly late, called in advance to tell them and basically was served up the rule book. My parents had to put our boy Hercules to sleep today. My parents only speak spanish but they said that they had a translator to help them understand the process. They said everyone was incredibly kind and compassionate. The receptionist, doctors, staff, and assistants truly are amazing. We are incredibly grateful to Ingleside for their kindness through a vulnerable time.

I've brought my cats here in the past and they always either don't give me the easier and correct solution the first time/misdiagnosing. It's annoying because it's just wasting my money and for what? Not making my cats actually get better? I'm so mad that this was the only place in az that had appointments available that day. If you just let your patients explain in detail and stop rushing us we would actually be getting somewhere with our pets health. Just unbelievable. Being a feline friendly hospital we feel that giving cats pills is much more traumatic to them and offer the liquid form. We are always able to schedule with our technicians medicate your pets for an extra charge. If I can give this place zero stars, I would. I took my dog princess here to get her vaccines updated and two weeks later she's limping around and shaking her belly area, swollen and her left leg. She can barely walk right on it. I called them and told them my situation I was even freaking out Today's Friday and they told me they could only see her on Sunday like are you kidding me? I just looked back at my original review for INgleside Animal Hospital -- it was written back in 2015... over 9 years ago! At the time, I had just gotten a rescue puppy and had an older dog too. I was super pleased with the attention my fur babies had gotten back then and while we sadly lost one of those dogs, we have a new pup since then and I'm still super happy with every person we've encountered at IAH. I chose this place because my sister recommended it. I moved to phoenix a year ago and this place seemed okay at first. But I tried to order heartworm prevention for my dog and they denied it. I called to ask why and they said it was because her heartworm test was not done along with her yearly exam and shots. The receptionist also told me that this clinic doesn't recommend their patients (dogs) any preventative medication and that I would have to separately request a heartworm test. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It sounds like there was a miscommunication. We recommend Heartworm tests and preventatives to ALL pets, as per the standards of care. However, we can not approve heartworm medication without an updated heartworm test. Considering that your pet's exam was up to date and you had declined testing at your last visit, you could just make a technician appointment for updated testing. Please call our office to get your pet updated on their testing and to discuss further.
