I've driven by this place over the years so many dozens of times and had my first experience with them today. Very, Very caring first impression, even had a welcome to new clients in the lobby with our cat's name on it. From reception to doctor, we were treated with friendly, respectful and professional folks. Didn't balk when I mentioned ordering the meds on line and wrote me a prescription. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for your excellent service today.

We have seen various vets in North County. We feel that we are in good hands at the Drake. They compassionately helped us put our dog with cancer down. I will always appreciate their help. They treat our current dog wonderfully and really went the extra mile when we had an emergency. Thank you. Your pet will love them too!

We've been taking our dogs to the Drake Center for over 10 years. We love them. They have helped us find the specialists we need to care for some of our dogs more extreme issues. Very clean and welcoming facility. Warm staff who are very timely and they have weekend hours. They are on the expensive end but we find they are worth it and provide outstanding care to our pups.

Every vet at the Drake Center that we have had treat our two dogs and one cat has been excellent. The dogs love them and are happy to see them - first clue they really are dog people. The vet will often sit right on the floor with the dog so it doesn't feel overwhelmed by a stranger hovering over them. They ask lots of questions because they know the owner is with the dog (or cat) all the time and can be an insightful partner is honing down the problem. The BEST vet around. Been coming to the Drake Center for almost 20 yrs and will never leave. They genuinely care about our pets and always give the very best care. They are an extension of our family.

I have been a client here for 14 years. Obviously I'm very happy with the care my beloved dogs receive. Everyone here is a pleasure to interact with; from the front desk to all of the vets. Two of the saddest events of my life took place here, losing beloved dogs, & on both occasions Dr Hamlet had the misfortune of being the vet to end my dog's suffering. Never coming back. While the vet I saw was very nice, the vet tech and receptionists were very snippy and condescending. One questioned the breeding of my dog (I didn't get him from a box of puppies at Walmart!), another had rude remarks about the organization I'm volunteering with. Then when I inquired about a discount I heard they might offer, the vet tech started talking very slowly to me, went over the entire bill to be sure I could afford it before service would be provided and then asked whether I needed pet insurance ... read more

We just moved to the area and was recommended this vet by a new neighbor (that is a ER vet). Made an appointment and was seen straight away. They helped my little friend with his discomfort and was making sure that he was doing well with a follow up call a few days later. The staff was very professional and friendly from the moment they picked up the phone.
