I can here for my new kitten. She had jammed her arm in the door and was kind of limping around so I wanted to get her checked to make sure nothing was wrong with her. This place offers free Exam for new patients/ customers. So I figured this was the perfect time to use it, especially since I'm looking for a regular vet to be able to take my pets to. I tock my husky named echo to this hospital yesterday, they are nice and professional.
My sincerest thanks to everyone at Serra for saving my rescue pup. After his first day or two, I expected the lethargy and exhaustion to wear off. It did not and after a referral from a friend, Pam found an immediate spot with Dr Natt to examine my pup. It turns out the little guy was pretty sick, and was diagnosed quickly and put on a regimen that turned him into a whole new dog within 24 hours. PLEASE NOTE: They have a sign at the front desk offering a $30 credit for anyone who gives them a Yelp review. I wish I'd taken their total stars with a grain of salt... We brought our puppy in for his 2nd round of shots. The vet and vet tech were lovely and sweet, but didn't seem to give straight answers for anything I asked. He's my first dog, and all the literature on puppies recommends asking your vet things like, how much food should I feed him? I chose them after getting many opinions and doing lots of research, before getting our puppy. We already had vets for our guinea pigs but they were in Palo Alto and just too far. Dr. Nat and Dr.Federova are always patient and take their time. When I was getting her spayed Dr.Federova took me in her office to talk to me and and explain everything-- it is our first dog and I was really nervous. Dr. Natt, Pam and his staff are amazing. Our little malti poo was hit by a car and we took him here for a much more reasonable major leg surgery (vs Sage in Campbell). They boarded him for a week and did all the PT with our little guy. I am so happy to have found this place and for the treatment and attention given to us. I highly recommend this place to anyone with a pet in need!
Serra Veterinary Hospital is fantastic. They take a personal interest in each pet and are very responsive and effective in their care.
I don't know many things that make you feel as helpless as when your pet, who can't communicate, is sick or in pain. We just moved to California a few months ago, and my dog had been seeing the same vet for the last few years. I honestly couldn't have asked for a more amazing transition to a new vet in a new state. They were kind, friendly, compassionate, clear in their communication, and helped us set up a plan to help get our dog the help she needs. Pam was so incredibly nice to us. Thanks for everything!
When we brought our blue nose pitbull here for an ear infection, we asked the vet to also check one of his hind legs as we had noticed him limping just a few days prior. The preliminary diagnosis was that he needed TPLO surgery on the limping hind leg. The x-rays showed that our dog actually needed the surgery on both of his legs! The plan was for the worst leg to have surgery first, followed by 8 weeks of rehab, then surgery on the other leg. Our dog is currently doing rehab after the second leg surgery.
