I would rate this a zero if I could. The only positive thing is that the vet techs are very nice.....the vet (Dr. Natt) Had NO compassion for my cat's well-being. My cat had a terrible, bleeding rash so I took him there. The first time he got an antibiotic shot and prednisone. He wasnt getting any better. The second visit he got another antibiotic shot and more prednisone and he STILL wasn't getting any better almost 2 months later. This is the best veterinary clinic I have ever visited! The personnel is extremely pleasant, and my whole experience with them had been absolutely fascinating. They are very attentive and always make our treatment easy for us. Our family and I absolutely recommend this vet clinic indeed!

Our 12-year old aussie shepherd had been acting lethargic and totally not like herself for a while. I was worried that she was on the downward slope due to her age, even though she previously had been in great health. We took her to see Dr. Natt and he discovered a rotting tooth in the back of her mouth. After surgically removing the tooth, Cali was like her old self almost IMMEDIATELY! Dr. Natt saved our cat, Callie. One night we discovered that she was limping. Both of her legs seemed to be paralyzed. Her tail was dragging. We went to two vets and were not given much hope she could survive, and one vet encouraged us to put her down. We frequently use Serra Vet Hospital for their boarding and veterinary services. After moving to San Jose 2 years ago with our English Bulldog and Pitbull, we had a very difficult time finding a boarder that would a) keep our animals in private kennels, and b) would accept a dog who had not yet been neutered. Serra was happy to accommodate both and we have been using them consistently ever since with no issues. Buyer Beware! Go to this hospital only if you want to be insanely ripped off! Our cat was lethargic and not eating for a couple of days so we brought her in here for the first time. It was the only place I could get an appointment on short notice. While they are really nice, they smile in the front and then rip you off when you're not looking. They prey upon your love for your animal to bleed you dry of every cent you have. They took her temperature and found she had a fever. I mistakenly mentioned that we had VPI Insurance.... read more
