Regretful service. Lack of communication between staff members and overall veterinarian experience. APRIL 9th I booked an appointment at SMpetmedical because my pet lab was unusually lethargic. Met with Dr. Bijlani who after assessing my pet recommended an immediate X-ray as it could possibly be Pyometra. (Uterus infection). I genuinely would not like to see this happen to anyone else. In a nutshell our dog was prepped for a surgery that never took place. This included an IV and the insertion of a catheter. We brought our Chihuahua in who woke up one morning with a swollen snoat and were told he needed surgery as soon as possible to extract two abscessesed teeth. I've been watching the dog of my former boss' daughter for the 12 months. And she's a pretty old dog, about 14 years old. She was having some diarrhea problems and looked like she was having seizures. I brought her immediately to the hospital and was seen pretty quickly. The front desk was friendly but when the tech and nurse asked if the dog was mine, I said no, I was dog sitting, I was 100% treated differently. This vet is terrible. Never take your cats here. First of all 95% of the staff is dismissive, rude, and aggressive. The doctor we saw (Dr. Bijlani) was SO creepy & weird when interacting with our cat. She overprescribed and over-treated him with everything he didn't need for everything he didn't have racking up a completely unnecessary vet bill. I brought my dog in after she ingested a grape. I called ahead and they said they highly recommended I bring her in which is understandable. I inquired about fees to which they said it would be an $80 checkup visit plus the cost of the service rendered which would be at the dr discretion. After bringing her in and them inducing vomiting they came in with their fee estimate. It was $150! for an emergency visit plus $210 for vomiting and $65 for the nurses observation for a total of $425. All seemed high but cost of doing busi... read more

Re: Do Not Provide Service, you scored $30 OFF your purchase! Above: Is what Pet Medical is sending me after they refuse to provide me service. Really? This is the same message they sent in my holiday card ? Seriously, what a bunch of IDIOTS!

I have been taking my pets to this veterinary clinic for more than 30 years. But, never again. My 12 year old cat, who was born with a serious heart defect, passed away there on Tuesday afternoon. His death was not their fault. He already had lived more than twice as long as cardiologists had predicted, and his heart finally gave out. Ugh just so Meh. The up-sell every time with one "injectable" med after another...none of which are likely necessary. Super impersonal, uninterested and all seem uninspired by their jobs. Won't be back and it's discouraging to see.

Available for the initial service and obviously happy to take your money, but really bad follow up requests and availability for urgent questions. I would not go back again.
