I am a local Santa Monica psychotherapist and mom of three in the West LA area. We have been with Pet Medical Center for almost 10 years and a patient of Dr. George's. During this time we have been mostly happy, although we were always a bit suspect of the extremely high charges and unnecessary tests they began suggesting for our pets as the years went by. In response to your review, as stated in your termination letter, "successful treatment of our patients requires good communication and trust between client and veterinarian". Despite being given both oral and written instructions on how treat ringworm successfully, you repeatedly ignored these instructions. Then, when the ringworm spread to more and more of your family members, you became angry and blamed us for the increased longevity of treatment for an increasing number of patients. Awful place VERY FRUSTRATING TO DEAL WITH - especially knowing our dog was on palliative care because with a 70% rate of malignancy and metastatic cancer from liver mass surgery would not buy her enough time... they seemed to just dump us since we werent $$$. HORRIBLE rude front office & 2 Dr's REFUSED to treat or look at my dog who was treated by Dr. hernandez who doesnt work on the weekend.
