Dr Heather Moore DVM, took wonderful care of my 11 yr old Yorkie, Houdini. He presented with leg pain and while investigating, found he had a rather large stone in his bladder. I interrogated Dr Moore with every question me and my family had. And she didn't waffle or backpedal in her responses. I felt very confident in her ability to perform the surgery and am thrilled with the outcome. Houdini had a scary looking seam when finished but healed beautifully as she had reassured that it would. He's back to peeing like a champ a... read more
these people are the nicest I have every seen. extremely knowledgeable Veterinarians. everyone there is NICE and caring!!! I would recommend them to everyone who has a sick pet. there first concern is always the care for your animal. My service dog has always been treated like family there.
First visit to LVH with GSD Gunnar who was suffering from an open wound. MD Moore and her staff were professional and confident. MD Moore quickly provided a diagnosis of an embedded foxtail as well as a treatment/cost sheet. There was ZERO pressure from them as to what treatments to follow through with, just good advice on what they thought needed to be done. MD Moore estimated $50 to probe the wound for the foxtail. She found it so quickly that she only charged $25! Very please with all the staff and MD Moore.
Absolutely love Livermore Vet. DR. Moore (I hope I have the spelling correct) and all the ladies that work here are an absolute dream. As much as my two girls dislike going to the vet, they tolerate it as much as dogs can. I love the fact they know a way to a dog's heart with yummy treats and more love then they can handle. I can't walk down the hall without someone giving the girls attention and lots of love. Each staff member is super gentle and you can tell their love of animals is always constant. Dr. Moore does take int... read more
So I took my mastiff here because he wasn't feeling good and lost 40 lbs. they took x rays did a full check up and couldn't come up with anything and gave me pain meds. They charged me over 900$ for this. My dog was in extreme pain and I took him to UC Davis two weeks later to find out he had cancer. Then I had to put my best friend down. He suffered for an extra couple weeks because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with him and I spent over 900$ for nothing. If I ever get another dog I would not take him here. They s... read more
staffs and doctors are very nice. I brought my dog in for an exam and dr. recommended for an ultrasound to get a detailed picture, and the machine couldn't get a clear picture because my dog is too big. The clinic only charged me about half price on the ultrasound. I really appreciate. I think their pricing is very fair compare to other vet.
We've been bringing our cats here since they were kittens. Until now we haven't had to go for anything other than routine or minor issues. Unfortunately our boy Orange developed a fractured hip and needed surgery. They morning I called saying he had hurt himself and we didn't know how, they got us in that afternoon. Dr. Bloomfield is really wonderful and even though she had to give us bad news you can just tell how much she loves kitties and all animals. They brought in a specialist for us the next day to do Orange's surgery... read more
I was skeptical when I had to find a new veterinarian for my pups, when I felt my other vet wasn't helping in an aggressive manner to fight my pups ear infection. I was referred to Livermore vet and I'm so glad I made the change. Dr. Zinn was on her J O B in a sincere manner. I read other reviews about the staff, but had no negative interactions with anyone. Dr. Zinn was honest with me, kept me updated on lab results, and has done everything she can for my dogs terrible ear infection. I'm so glad I went to Livermore Vet. The... read more
Wonderful, loving and professional vets and staff who give animals only the best of care. We are always greeted with smiles and courtesy. The veterinary techs are always professional and gentle with our pets and explain things when asked. The vets take time with us and offer alternatives if needed. I love the care they have given all our pets and wouldn't go anywhere else!
