Our family has used this Veterinary for over 25 years. They provide excellent Veterinary service and guidance. They've taken care of all of our cats and dogs over the years. They're especially kind when we have to put down our beloved pets. They always send us flowers and give us hugs when we're devastated over the loss of our pets... We will only ever use this Veterinary for our pets and suggest you give them a try if you want the best care for your animals. They are the absolute best.!

Thank you so much for seeing my kitty as a new patient! Our normal vet was 2+ weeks out and you saved the day! The entire staff was great!

We followed Dr. Linda Bloomfield here from San Ramon. She is THE BEST. She diagnosed our beloved young cat, Peaches, with lymphosarcoma, an aggressive, deadly cancer. She saved her. She has always been wonderful ith our cats (despite occasional hissing and snarling) and us as well. I was in animal resuce for years and know a great vet when I see one. Referred my neighbers who also love her. As long as I'm' in the area, this is my vet.

After making numerous inquiries I chose LVH based both on reasonable pricing, and attitudes of the vet and staff on the phone. When I got there with my bitch and her litter, everyone was very sensitive to the dam's stress levels, and the owner's as well, lol. Dr. Bloomfield, our vet and owner of the clinic, kept me in surgery with her asking with each puppy if the placement was correct for each docking. Each puppy was handled gently and the dewclaw removals, tail dockings and exams were completed with a minimum of fuss. The ... read more

I really recommend this office. Everyone on staff is friendly. They know who you are and know your pets by name. I take my dog to Dr. Moore, and she is amazing. She's down to earth, treats you like family, and cares for your pets as much as you do. I've heard wonderful things about the other doctors as well, but haven't had personal experience with them.

No fear protocol I am a new client with this office. I have been twice total. I scheduled my dog (a Sheppard mix) for visit for vaccines and to establish care. My issue is I did not see the Vet until 6pm, an hour late. My dog was anxious and was only able to receive her Rabies vaccine and I was advised to give her bapentin/Trazodone and to come back the next day. Fine. I left by 6:30pm. I go back the next day to get her 3 other vaccines and an anal glands checked while she is on medication. My dog has had a total of 4 pil... read more

First off, yes, you should take your pets here. Everyone from front desk staff (always answering with what sounds like a smile) to the doctors, everyone is awesome!! As a bully breed mama I am always a little reluctant to try a new place as I never know how people will react or treat him. The ladies here were unmatched. We move around a lot due to work and I've seen a few vets in the last few years but I WISH we could've stayed here. I felt like they genuinely cared for my baby and his best interest was top priority. It also... read more

The customer service at the Livermore Family Pet Hospital is notably poor, especially the front desk receptionist who comes across arrogant, uncaring and speaks to clients in a condescending tone. I have moved all my pet services to another veterinarian in Livermore.

Livermore Family Pet Hospital is an incredible place to take your pets. The staff is amazingly caring and gentle with both animals and pet parents/owners/handlers. And their consistent staffing means that long term respect and trust can be built between communication and pharmacy staff and clients as well as between clients and the wonderful and talented veterinarians. The hospital also tries to take people's budgets and finances into account. They will try to parce out and discuss the divisions between needed tests, vaccine... read more
