Our family would be lost without this place! Dr. Moore & Dr. Zin are our favs (pawpicked by my dog children)
Everyone loves a one eyed pug, and the ladies in this vet office were no different :) Petey went in for his checkup today and along with a shot and nail trim, he got lots of treats and belly rubs. I was happy with all the vet techs knowledge and the receptionist was very friendly too. I'd pay whatever it takes to keep my fur baby healthy, but the bill didn't not seem alarmingly high. We will be back in 6 months for more treats (and shots)!
I moved to Livermore Veterinary Hospital after being dissatisfied with the care I was receiving with my other vet. My dog had been having weird episodes and bizarre symptoms late at night. After my other vet showed no critical thinking skills and left me helpless, I brought my pup here. Upon our first exam, my jaw completely dropped by the level of care we received. They sat down with me, listened to every detail, wrote down everything involving his episodes, asked many questions, offered multiple tests that could be done (w... read more
My puppy had aspirated some food into his lungs. If it wasn't for Dr. Bloomfield's quick thinking he would not be sitting on my lap today. She knew I did not know how to get to the emergency clinic so she made a oxygen tent out of a plastic garbage bag, stablized my puppy so he could be transported and drove my puppy to the emergency clinic as fast as she could. I followed her in my car and could barely keep up with her. The odds that my little guy would make it through the night were slim to none but because of her experti... read more
I just called to see if there was anyone at this office that could go over to my Grandmother's assisted living residence in Livermore and trim the resident guinea pig's nails. I live in Kansas City and trim them when I am there, however they need it more often than I am out there. I could barely get my request out without being interupted with "we don't treat guinea pigs". I then asked if there was a vet tech there that I could pay to go over to trim the nails and was told "no". Well, alrighty then - thanks so much. Wow. An... read more
So happy to have found this vet office. I took my three dogs here for the first time last week. It is definitely on the more expensive side, but nothing out of the norm. The Vet, Dr. Zin was amazing. She was so sweet and great with all three of my babies. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals, which is important. They also use a online pet portal, which is convienant to keep you up to date on you vaccinations and great if you need to print put current vaccinations for grooming or boarding. They are also very honest ... read more
I'm one of 'those dog people'. You know, crazy in love with my dogs and worry about them as if they are children! My pom was due for a dental and I was so worried about her (I haven't had her put under anesthesia since I adopted her. Everyone was so kind, reception, technicians and the vet, Dr. Bloomfield. I felt that her and the vet tech really listened to my concerns and questions and answered them in a way that really made sense to me and helped me understand my options. They also were very professional, and genuinely car... read more
We have been taking our pets to Livermore Vet for almost a decade. We moved to Fremont 18 mo ago and still drive to Livermore to Dr. Zinn and the rest of the staff. When we had to make the difficult decision to put down our Lab, Dr Zinn was dedicated and very caring about the situation. She allowed us to bring our other dog in the room during the procedure so she left this world with her pack around her. A few days later we received a condolence card signed by the entire staff. I have owned dogs my entire life. Livermore ve... read more
We went in as a new patient with a seriously ill cat. They got us in immediately and all of the staff was wonderful. We were all very emotional and the Vet, Aide, and Front Office Staff were so very thoughtful. We will definitely make this our new Vet.
