Get directionsThe staff at this hospital are nothing short of amazing! I brought my senior cockapoo Penny to the emergency room a few weeks ago, she went to the beach and accidentally ingested sand causing a blockage. We called ahead to confirm they could see her, and they took her in promptly at around 11 pm. Penny ended up needing to be hospitalized and on fluids to treat the blockage for 2 days. The staff was so communicative! She has never been hospitalized before so I was naturally quite nervous about leaving her. They allowed us to ... read more
I had an emergency early in the morning with my foster dog who was vomiting blood and decided to come here after looking up 24 hour vets. I was so anxious no one was going to be open near me but thankfully found Irvine Valley Vet Hospital. They were able to check my dog out quickly and corresponded with my rescue agency right away. Brandon, one of the workers there was extremely helpful and friendly to me. My dog was anxious and Brandon even came and sat with us and made sure we were comfortable! You could tell that Brand... read more
This vet is honest and lays out all the options for you. It can be pricy but for. 24/7 vet location it's to be expected. Staff is all very nice and caring towards animals and people alike.
Had my dog spayed at the sand Canyon location. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They kept me updated at each stage of surgery. They also did a great job upon discharge and gave all the info needed for a safe recovery. The f/u was also quick and efficient 14 days post surgery.
Nicest group of people you will ever talk to or care for your animals. I would recommend calling ahead of time if you do have a bird so they can see if the proper people are there, but I am so grateful. Other veterinary hospitals were surprisingly awful to me over the phone and these people were not. He's a 20 year old bird and very old for the kind of bird he is.. and very active, healthy, and happy again! When we had brought him in a few months ago he was wheezing, flying around all panicked, and most were certain he wa... read more
My cockatiel, Corn, wasn't feeling too well last night, and after calling multiple vets (finding someone that can treat avians is so difficult), we found Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital. By the time we left their building, my bird was back to his normal self again! The office was nice and clean. The people at the front desk were quick to help, taking our animal as soon we walked in and answering any questions we had. Dr. Nguyen was kind, patient, and informative. We were given medication to take home, and are feeling hopef... read more
This staff was INCREDIBLE. My poor dog needed to be seen ASAP for a skin infection. Brandon from the front office was amazing. He put my nerves at ease at every step from my initial phone call to check out - and even follow up texts :) He was with us in the exam room and walked me through everything while also being so caring for my pup. Dr. Woodruff was so kind and helpful- she was empathetic and caring and knew exactly what to do to get Jet feeling better fast. The tech and nurse team, Mary and Sarah were also wonderful - ... read more
The vet.. usually has reputation of just wanting money and hardly willl car for your fur baby. I went to 3 different emergency vet clinics to get quotes for my babies blockage. I couldn't afford the 10k that one of the vets quoted me. Said if I couldn't afford the surgery (not even the whole surgery of the opening but to unblock him) I should consider putting him down... Irvine valley vet was patient and heard our story and offered to see my baby at no charge to see what our options were. Irvine valley vet staff are some of ... read more
The Irvine valley veterinary hospital staff are truly some of the most amazing people. My cat suddenly got sick and stopped eating. As soon as I brought him in they took care of him and explained everything to me at each step of the way. They were dedicated to his case and provided the best care they could have, to not only him, but me too. Unfortunately he kept declining in health despite the team's best efforts and they were able to provide him a peaceful passing. My cat was my best friend and losing him after 14 years has... read more
