Living in the Herndon area, I struggled to find emergency vets nearby as they were all busy. We were redirected to Columbia Pike Animal Hospital, which was a 40 minute drive. But the drive was worth it because when we walked in with our 15 year-old beagle in our arms- they immediately rushed to get him the care he needed. After doing blood work on him, we were told he may have kidney and liver disease. We were given the option to put him to sleep peacefully or keep doing additional tests and keep him hospitalized. Columbia Pike Animal Hospital has taken care of my dog for almost ten years. He just had surgery for a dental cleaning and to remove some lumps. Dr. Flynn took excellent care of him and communicated very well with me. I would definitely trust her to take care of him again.

The Columbia Pike Animal Hospital is a facility I would highly recommend in case of an emergency or on a regular basis. Not only was it extremely sanitary but the employees were overly helpful and immensely sincere to my situation. My cat had to undergo immediate surgery and the Veterinarian, Melissa Adams was very compassionate and explained throughly the process and risk of the surgery also answered all my concerns about my cat, as this was his first surgery. I have been coming to Columbia Pike for 22+ years to see Dr. Flynn. She is a compassionate and caring vet. She is a great teacher/educator to me which allows me to take better care of my dog. My girl Bacardi is spoiled by the entire staff and she is always happy to see them. Bacardi has had many issues and we can always count on Dr. Flynn to help us formulate a plan that always helps our girl. A big thank you to Dr. Flynn and the wonderful staff that takes care of Bacardi. We appreciate you all!!!!!

My little guy got mauled by a huge dog 3 weeks ago on a Sunday. I wasn’t sure he was even going to survive. The other dog was 10 times bigger and just tore him up. He was there the first time for almost 8 hours. They did an amazing job of sewing him up. It wasn’t cheap but they fixed him up. He still isn’t back to where he was. It’s been a journey full of love. I highly recommend this place and unfortunately I have to to return here several times. The Drs are very good and it’s a clean positive place to take your pets!
