ABOUT OUR VETERINARY CLINIC IN LOMIRA, WI VETERINARY VILLAGE & INTERNATIONAL CANINE SEMEN BANK In 1982, Veterinary Village was founded by Dr. Marty Greer and Dr. Dan Griffiths as Brownsville Small Animal Clinic in Brownsville, WI. We moved our practice to Main Street in 1988 and in 2008, we moved to our current state-of-the-art facility on Highway 41 just outside of Brownsville.

We decided to come to Dr. Greer because our dog had an undescended testicle and I had found out she was a specialist in reproductive care. It took about 6 phone calls to get someone to call me back. It took another 6 attempts to try to make a date for the surgery. We were told different things each time we called. We almost went to another vet, but finally Dr. Greer called us back. I always have to call them back to get answers. I don't really trust that they will call when they say they will. This has happened numerous times in dealings with staff. I am always the one who has to call again asking for updates.
I called Monday morning concerned about my dog. The girl who answered said someone would call me back soon or by the end of the day for sure!! Wednesday I called back was told the person I needed to speak to just went into a meeting. Then Thursday I called another vet called veterinary clinic to transfer my dogs information. All of a sudden they have an opening and will see her within the hour. I’ve been playing phone tag with Adam for a few days now. Very frustrating!!
You all were great! Even though we started about 2hrs late my puppies were very well taken care of all through the procedures. Your staff came to check on me regularly also to see if I needed anything. Thanks!
Years of bringing our dog here. What happened? The costs have gone through the roof. Just a basic visit when we finally could get in…. And then slapped with a bill for literally 3x as much as what a different local vet charges. Not driving here anymore, and spreading the word. I used to praise this clinic, but they only care about money now, not making sure the pets are able to be seen in a timely manner or at a cost a family can afford.
We have been clients for over 30 years. I have complete confidence in the abilities of staff but no longer trust the best interests of our pets is in place. The fees are waaaaayyyy out of wack. Reminders to vaccinate are wonderful, but by the time an actual appointment can be made is no longer acceptable. My worst fears have recently been realized, neighbors, hard working, kind and decent family people cannot afford these prices. Professional, knowledgeable but lack a personality. Dog treats you have to ask for, stale. Very impersonal. I guess they are the only ones offering this service so no competition and it shows. They do their job, they know thier job, but no going above and beyond here.
Yes i specifically asked for a Teaser Bitch to be there. My boy's sperm counts suffer greatly, if there is no teaser bitch there. Having done this a few times b4 i came to you w/ no teaser & getting subpar counts and defective sperm. Our 1st collection, due to a Teaser being there as requested by me we got a good collection. When we arrived i should have walked outin the Rooster Room i was assured there is plenty of scent thinking she had scent pads at the very least i let her proceed. I was a little disappointed in the technican at our appointment yesterday. My dog was very excited to be there. He seemed annoyed with her excitement. It would have been nice to see him greet her and pet her or give her a little attention when he first came into the room. Our vet experience was great as always. Thank you
