ABOUT OUR VETERINARY CLINIC IN LOMIRA, WI VETERINARY VILLAGE & INTERNATIONAL CANINE SEMEN BANK In 1982, Veterinary Village was founded by Dr. Marty Greer and Dr. Dan Griffiths as Brownsville Small Animal Clinic in Brownsville, WI. We moved our practice to Main Street in 1988 and in 2008, we moved to our current state-of-the-art facility on Highway 41 just outside of Brownsville.

I bought my dog MJ in for her grooming. MJ has very bad anxiety. Just talking with the two groomers I felt at ease leaving her there. When I went to pick her up she looked great and she wasn’t all stressed out. They did a beyond excellent job with my fur baby. I can’t brag enough to other pet owners.
Kristen did a wonderful job for our little Britty. She cares about her and does what we ask. Would recommend her!!!
I totally enjoy visiting Dr. Greer and trusting her and her staff with the medical, emotional, and physical care of my Zoey. I have owned Irish setters since 1972. Zoey is my fifth Irish Setter. Through the years, I have been to other (near my home) veterinary practices, but Dr. Greer's practice, experience, and friendly care is totally worth driving the extra 49 miles! Always greeted with a smile and of course always impressed with Dr Greer as a veterinarian. She is the best, and Lisa the Tech is awesome!!
We have been searching for a vet within 30 miles of our home that we could trust. We do believe we have found this in Dr Greer and the Vet Village. The service was amazing and more importantly, our goals as pet owners were respected and the care to our dog was top notch. We will certainly be bringing our other dogs here.
I have been a client of Veterinary Village since 2/3/2007. Referred by my friend Kathy. My first visit & experience was Dr. Greer assisting with my first litter. Dr Greer & Staff amazing. Our continued relationship thru the years and in the passing of my dogs ..Very caring. I would Highly recommend Vet Village. The doctors and staff really care about their patients and clients. I would not recommend Dr. Zelle. No bed side manner at all when putting down a dear family members cat. He muzzeled the poor cat and did not even ask if the family wanted any time with her, to hold her, to say goodbye. Luckily the nurse came out and asked if they wanted to come in the room. They obviously did, they came into the room and Dr. Zelle gave the shot immediately, not even asking the family if they were ready. This vet needs to be fired. The only think I don’t understand is why I was charge an Urgent Care fee when I told them I would like my dog to be seen in the next day or two , and it WAS the next day. Urgent sounds like if I just brought her in as an emergency. What is considered Urgent in this regard and how are the office fees reflected as such? $120 to walk in the door seems excessive.
When you tell a client that their pet needs surgery and explain what they need to do to make that happen, then you tell that client what YOU will do, YOU should do it ! The sending of files and X-RAYS is a very crucial part of a patient who needs rather urgent surgery. I paid the exorbitant fee of $400+ for a noon Sunday appt and X-ray to find out there was nothing that could be done at your clinic except a referral. I expect the referral and paperwork to go along with it sent to the hospital as I was told it would be. Not o... read more
