I have a CRF cat (15 yrs old). I had been going to a VCA pet clinic that wasn't very close in distance, so I thought I would try a clinic closer. I decided to try out Pet Care Center (drop-in only - no appointments). They are under new owners. I am SO impressed with the service I received! They are very personable & friendly. They set me up w/ Sub-Q fluids to administer at home, and with other meds to help my cat with her disease (the other clinic never even spoke of these treatments). They also told me that if I couldn't ad... read more

Dr. Pamparo and his staff have taken care of our dogs for years and their love of animal make this a five star experience . They were amazing when it came time put Baxter to sleep, giving us extra time with him in the exam room and time to grieve after. The care they show their patients and the people that bring them in makes it feel like family. Like Alyson L. we were touched by the handwritten note. Easy to get to and definitely worth the drive from Ballard

Dr. Pamparo and staff have been my pets' vet for 16 years! I no longer live in West Seattle, and don't mind the trip because I trust this vet and staff to be honest, reasonably priced and helpful.

We moved away from West Seattle 18 years ago, but we still go to Pet Care Center for all our vet needs. Dr. Chris Pamparo and his crew are wonderful with all of our pets. Prices have always been reasonable. And most impressive to me - if I ask for something I don't need (like more expensive testing, he tells me. So, I know when he says I do need something that I do. I know that I can trust what he tells me, unlike some other vets I have tried. I highly recommend Pet Care Center. It is definitely worth the drive.

We actually found this place due to a rather unfortunate circumstance, our 11 year old cat Bubba became quite ill (in a matter of hours) and we ended up having to have him put to sleep. I had a horrifying experience with an emergency clinic in North Seattle that left me with a sour taste in my mouth for vets (my cats are all vaccinated and indoor only, so they don't need much care), but the Pet Care Center has completely redeemed the whole industry in my opinion. They were incredibly thoughtful and empathic and gentle whe... read more

Charged me $80 for my first appt that I cancelled same day because I was sick. I was never informed I'd still be charged, and their policy on their website doesn't mention this. In fact, it says your 2nd missed appt there is a $25 fee, but not $80 for the first missed appt! When I called about the charge, the very rude "office manager" said it was a non-refundable fee- which was never communicated to me. Horrible business practice, be aware that if you give them your cc info you will be unlawfully charged! I will be disputi... read more

If you try to resolve the anguish you're experiencing through the suffering of your loved ones they've caused, they'll tell you to use a different veterinary service. I recommend you avoid all the pain and take their advice initially. Unfortunately, West Seattle doesn't have any decent professionals serving the our dear family members, so you'll have to leave the community in order to provide them with the loving care they deserve.

I would be weary of this clinic. It's run by a married couple with are rude as hell. They talk and make fun of clients when they step in the back. You can get way better pet care at several other clinics in West Seattle.

I have been taking my dog to pet care center for over a year as I moved from a new city and needed a new vet plus boarding as I often travel for work. At first the relationship was great, however the last 3 boarding visits the staff has failed to communicate and or follow instructions I have left for my dogs care. I know my dog has depression anxiety and i pack toys and treats and a shirt with my scent to help her stay. They stopped putting the things in the kennel with her. When I asked about this the tech told me the don't... read more
