Charged me $80 for my first appt that I cancelled same day because I was sick. I was never informed I'd still be charged, and their policy on their website doesn't mention this. In fact, it says your 2nd missed appt there is a $25 fee, but not $80 for the first missed appt! When I called about the charge, the very rude "office manager" said it was a non-refundable fee- which was never communicated to me. Horrible business practice, be aware that if you give them your cc info you will be unlawfully charged! I will be disputi... read more

If you try to resolve the anguish you're experiencing through the suffering of your loved ones they've caused, they'll tell you to use a different veterinary service. I recommend you avoid all the pain and take their advice initially. Unfortunately, West Seattle doesn't have any decent professionals serving the our dear family members, so you'll have to leave the community in order to provide them with the loving care they deserve.

I would be weary of this clinic. It's run by a married couple with are rude as hell. They talk and make fun of clients when they step in the back. You can get way better pet care at several other clinics in West Seattle.

I have been taking my dog to pet care center for over a year as I moved from a new city and needed a new vet plus boarding as I often travel for work. At first the relationship was great, however the last 3 boarding visits the staff has failed to communicate and or follow instructions I have left for my dogs care. I know my dog has depression anxiety and i pack toys and treats and a shirt with my scent to help her stay. They stopped putting the things in the kennel with her. When I asked about this the tech told me the don't... read more

Multiple issues with communication. I needed to pick up a refill of my pet's flea and tick medication and called 4 days before leaving on a trip to the woods, filled with fleas and ticks. I was told that I would receive a call when the prescription was ready, if not the same day then the day after. Received no call. 2 days later I called again, was still not ready. Told them I was leaving and I really needed to get the medication. Said they would rush it and give me a call when it was ready. Still no call. The day I was leav... read more

The other day I brought my cat in to get his claws trimmed. No big deal, so I thought. The lady took my cat and started on the trimming. After about 10 minutes or so she brings my cat out and tells me that she was only able to trim the front paws because according to her my cat got "aggressive." Ok, "not a problem," I said. I just assumed they'd do the right thing and charge me half of what it normally costs to do a trim which is $15. I go to pay for the half ass service that was done, and the receptionist wanted to charge m... read more

For a while now, my mom has been telling me to no longer go to the Pet Care Center... Since I was a little girl all my cats have come to this vet. When we starting coming it was Dr. Chris and he was amazing. The new owners always "seemed" nice to me, but after my last experience I had to do some reconsidering... A few weeks ago, I brought in my sick cat, the woman at the front desk told me that the doctor was "done for the day" and I'd have to bring my cat to an emergency clinic downtown. It was 4:00 on a weekday and she w... read more

Last month my dog had his teeth cleaned at the Pet Care Center, which I was quite unsatisfied with, because the cost was several hundred dollars more than quoted, without explanation. My wife wrote a negative yelp review, that the owner replied to with an upset email. Since the procedure, however, my dog has not had normal stools, and over the last 3 days he hasn't had a bowel movement at all. This morning he was straining and all that came out was a bloody streak, which felt like an emergency to me. Given that his bowel m... read more

We ended up trying to take our dog back here after his teeth cleaning procedure because he's been having GI issues since then and we figured we could give them once more chance and that it might be beneficial to have the same people see him who performed the procedure, but they flat our REFUSED to see him today. Our dog is sick and has been for weeks now and they refused to see him. They then also refused to give us copies of his records and attempted to have us sign some sort of letter about our "behavior" at our last visit... read more
