They were able to get me in on short notice. Thorough exam. Treated my cat considerately and respectfully given her fearful presentation. Very brief wait upon arrival. Staff were positive and helpful.

The doctors and staff at North Powers are wonderful. We have been going to their clinic since moving here 4 years ago. Always friendly and take excellent care of our fur babies. Their follow up is incredible.

We've been with one of this practice's veterinarians for nearly 20 years, back when we had a mix of large and small animals. We're now down to two cats, including one that's high-maintenance (teeth issues, kidney issues, stress issues). We've dealt with each of North Powers' practitioners in recent years, and always get excellent care, attention and service. We also have to get special food for our cat with "issues," and North Powers ensures our supply stays steady.
As a first time pet owner and relatively new to Colorado Springs, I was incredibly overwhelmed with finding a vet and the cost of veterinarian care. Dr. Welfare took a great deal of time answering my laundry list of questions, recommending food brands, explaining reasons for each vaccination and training techniques in great detail. He also graduated from Texas A&M which has one of the top ranked veterinary programs in the country! Dr Welfare is fantastic. He takes his time to answer questions and provide training advice to help prevent issues in the future. We trust his honesty and know that he has our puppies best interests in mind. We never feel rushed during appointments. It is obvious that he loves what he does and is great with people and animals.
Dr. Welfare and his staff are fabulous! I have been taking my boxer to him since I've moved to the Springs and Dr. Welfare has been an amazing vet! He is truly companionate about animals and he exhausts himself to make sure they have the best care and treatments possible! I highly recommend!

I have a German Shepherd with lots of anxiety. All the staff at North Powers have bent over backward to accommodate him. We also feel we get adequate time with the vets to have our questions answered. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Great people, and truly caring staff. The vets are very knowledgeable and truly care for your pet. They never rush their meetings and answer all questions, very honestly, and no sugar coating. Very clean professional looking facility too!

I know you see a lot of reviews from me about Dr. Welfare and his staff, but he cares not only for my dog, but also my mother-in-law's dog, Buddy. We had a situation last week where Buddy needed to be euthanized due to biting. Dr. Welfare helped us, and primarily her, through an awful ordeal with unbelievable kindness and patience. He discovered that Buddy was suffering from cancer in his abdomen and he was biting out of pain.
