After over 12 years of being loyal to Dr. Serbin and his staff I experienced good service and not so good service. Because I was loyal, I stayed. I experienced being offered services that were led to be believed included in our visit, only to find out they weren't by the tally of the bill. This place is awful! I was given misinformation by the vet about what dosage shot was given to my cat. I asked if it was the full 1 ml injection and told it was. At the next appointment, the tech read notes from last time and said my cat was given .75 according to the vet notes!I was also told that the vet tried to reach me several times but my vm mailbox was full-it wasn't. Overpriced and unnecessary testing, my experience with ingleside. Took my very first puppy to this vet and wasn't very happy. Forced to do a fecal exam that I had no idea I would be charged for until the end. Completely unnecessary. However I thought maybe this was just a one time thing and that it wouldn't be the same after. Called them 1 month later to set appt for shots and I was told total shot bill would be $161. I had never gone to this vet previously, but in a quick bind came across this place via Yelp reviews. My foster dog recently got neutered and after a bit of licking at his stitches things weren't looking great. I needed to get him in at very short notice on a Tuesday. Since I had work the staff offered to watch my dog during the morning so I could come back during my lunch break. Not left with good feelings about the place. Have to say MONEY seemed the #1 priority, not my pet. When I was presented with $472.00 for an estimate for testing no other options really I was quite taken back. But when I explained being on social security disability prevented me from even considering such high costs I was completely offended by the vet snapping beck at me "so you don't want to do anything"? I highly and strongly recommend the Ingleside Animal Hospital. Recently I needed to transport a parrot from PHX to Hawaii. The state has various requirements before any animal can be imported from the Mainland. Dr. Brian Serbin did an excellent job for me, including ensuring that the Agricultural forms were filled out properly, and that the entire process and procedures were followed. I recently lost my cat Noodle to ear cancer. Ingleside Animal Hospital has been my cat's health care facility for the past eleven years although I had lost faith at one point because one of the Vets did not seem to like cats. When Noodle became ill Dr Hewitt became Noodle's vet and was very compassionate. She stayed in contact with me and had Noodle's best interests at all times. After the death of a wonderful dog last June, my wife and I couldn't bear going back to our tried and true vet clinic as the memories were just too painful. When we purchased a new dog last July, we decided to give a new vet clinic a shot and chose Ingleside. I have been a customer of this animal hospital since last August and have had several visits.
