Probably one of the best experiences at the vet I had with my dog. All the staff was super friendly, helpful, and insightful. Unfortunately, though given lots of options on care often felt like certain services were being up-sold to me. All being said, would still recommend others going there.
Eastown vet is terrible. All they care about is your money. Everything is overpriced and I have never felt like the staff care about my animals. They pre charge for samples and then never get back to you. They have never called to check up on my animals. And I was consistently charged $80-$100 more at Eastown vet clinic than other veterinarians for the same service/meds. And they ALWAYS "recommend" every single test there is, no matter what they think is wrong with your pet, just to get more money. My cat had chronic diarr... read more
If your dog needs grooming, I would recommend this place. If you like hearing women talk to your dog in high frequencies, I would recommend this place. But if your dog needs special medical attention for ANY reason (ear infection/tumor/UTI/arthritis etc.), be warned. I can't say too much because I cannot prove anything....but be warned. I had a positive experience with the veterinary professionals at BluePearl. Try them.
My dog hates going to the vet but they tried very hard to make him feel comfortable and safe.
It's been a year since I gone to Eastown Vet, and have refrained from writing a review, but recently a co-employee of mine had the same experience as me,so I decided it was time to tell of my experience. Eastown has cared for my dog over 4 years. They seemed caring. Nice modern facilities. VERY expensive. Month worth of antibiotics $70! Fast, friendly, veterinary center. They assessed my dog thoroughly and began a treatment plan quickly.
Dishonest We just moved to town from across the country and needed a vet we could trust. There staff is very friendly and called to check up on our pup so we were encouraged but then on our follow up visit (which they charge the full exam amount for btw) they ordered every test they could think of and gave our pup unnecessary vaccines b/c they flat out lied about contacting our previous vet. Horrible vet.. Do not go to this place.. They rip you off and try to up sell everything. They don't allow you to choose the vaccines you want. They are only about money and they do not care about your pets. This place was the worst decision we ever made for our cat. Beware!! If you care about your pets stay away from this clinic!

We are required by law to have a valid doctor-patient relationship in order to send home any medications or prevention (which means we need to perform a physical exam at least once a year). We have been going to east town vet for 3 years. We are deciding to leave but wanted to leave an honest review of this business. On the good side they have a very friendly staff, flexible scheduling and good location. On the bad side, they overcharge and order unnecessary tests frequently that could easily be ruled out by clinical judgement.
