Our appointment was quite late starting, Perhaps because of rain? Dr. Lang saw other patients before getting back to us after her brief exam. After quite a long wait, she spent time with us but explained that the tech who was to help her with the scope had to stay home with a sick child, thus no scope was done. Of course the scope would have been useful in her diagnosis and suggestions. We very much liked her,

The Vet never came into the room. Apparently he examined my cat in the back room. I wanted to talk to him about another problem my cat was having but never got the chance as he only.pocled his head in for a second. For almost $300 I should at least get to talk to the vet.

I took my little silky terrier, Buddy, to a groomer two weeks ago. Without my consent he changed my silky terrier into a Chihuahua. Thank God he left his tail and most of his head untouched. With his shaved body and his oversized, shaggy looking, stand up ears, he really looked pathetic. Today I took Buddy to Kristen at Veterinary Village’s Grooming for a “repair” job. Not only did she shape his ears beautifully, but she cleaned them as well (which I don’t believe the other groomer did, though he claimed to have done so). Bu... read more

Glad Kristen was able to fix Buddy's hair cut for you! She's the best!

Your healthy pet exams used to be so much more in depth & personal - and now I feel like just a number which made me super disappointed as I left paying almost $200 for the 1 routine visit. The doctor was in the room for maybe 2 mins max... and really only to give the vaccinations. He listened to her heart, checked her teeth and was running out the door. I had to stop him and ask if I could ask more questions. Barely anything for a $60 "healthy pet" check up. It wasn't always this way... which makes me wonder – "what's chang... read more

we have been going to lomira vets for over 30 years. that in itself says something about Dr. Greer. My one concern is that we would like to have the same vet when we take our pets in. Also, the wait time is TOO MUCH!! we drive from fond du lac with a cat in the carrier hollering all the way. Our last visit, the wait was MUCH better and we appreciate that. I do think the charges are a little much but our pets are worth the care. Bob and Janet Lewis

Business response:

Robert and Janet, We absolutely understand wanting the same doctor each time you visit! Please understand that not all doctors work all shifts at the clinic and if your pet has an urgent issue that needs to be seen right away that your prefered doctor may not be working that day. When you schedule the appointment please ask the staff for the doctor you would prefer to see and we will do our best to accomidate your request!

The Vet that took care of my elderly dog and I was very rude. Commented on how shaggy my dog was and asked me if I ever groomed him. He’s over 14 years old, he gets extremely stressed out while being groomed and I don’t like to put him through that. So I do it only when I absolutely have to and I do it myself. Then gave the one shot that I came for (which is why I’m assuming he’s treating me this way because I turned down the other 5) and walked out of the room. Because of this experience I’m going to drive 5 1/2 hours to my... read more

It is extremely important that the Dr. is on time!!!! We drive from Fond du Lac with our pet is a carrier which is very stressful for them. I would like to have one Dr. consistently be the care provider for our cats if possible. We have using Vet Village for over 40 years. We are both in our 80's and the drove is a challenge for us. Thank you!!!

Business response:

I do not believe that the first surgery was a success! We now have to have a second procedure done to remove the root from a broken tooth that was missed by Dr. peacock. The added expense after an enitial cost $549.00 and the trauma Willie will have to endure is unnecessary! R. Lewis
