Im sure this clinic is all that the others experiences say. The experience i just had was the complete opposite. Never got to meet the vet. The front office was great about scheduling me a week from my first call for an appointment. I guess they're so busy. Then i get a follow up call to ensure i would be on time for my appointment set a week ago. When we arrived early, to make sure paperwork was completed in time for our actual appointed time. There were literally no other patients in the waiting area. One new patien... read more
Was trusting these guys to help get my 7 month kitten back to health. Had ear mites from the house he was rescued from. Took my kitten in 3 times in 3 weeks to them. They said the ear mites turned into a yeast infection. 5 minute office visits for $50. Never offered blood work or anything. This "yeast infection" got to the point my kitten wouldn't play and wouldn't eat. 104 degree fever. They finally offer a blood test, hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of 5 minute doctors visits later. results were in last Friday. I h... read more
Have been a client for eight years and was always very pleased with Dr. Ketchmark. Took Lexi in to have a tooth checked because the vet at the groomers told me that she appeared to have an infection in a molar. Couldn't get in with Dr. Mike so they set me up with Dr. Emerson. She advised Lexi needed her teeth cleaned and would be taking tests to determine if the anesthetic would be okay. When I went to pick Lexi up I was told that they had to remove seven teeth! They said that her incisors were all loose. I know this w... read more
Strongly recommend staying away from this vet. Moved to AZ recently and can say with certainty that this is the worst vet I have ever encountered. The front desk staff is amazingly incompetent and there is no management or senior leadership to regulate their work. The front desk group are rude, insensitive, and not emotionally mature enough to interact with customers. Especially pet owners. If you care about your pet, avoid this place. This is not a good vet at all.
When the original and now retired Dr. Rick Soltero ran this hospital it was fantastic. Dr. Ketchmark was also an unbelievable vet and a super guy. He's left. So now, Soltero's sons have it and it's ALL about the money! My 14 year old German Shepherd, a long time patient who can now hardly walk and can't get into the car anymore, needed a renewal of his heart worm medicine. They refused unless he came in for a heart worm test! They couldn't care less about my problem or his. I now have a new vet and he had no problem givin... read more
I had gone to Saguaro Vet for many years and the staff was always warm and friendly, and Dr. Ketchmark was awesome. Well it has changed! The receptionist was rude on the phone, as well as when I went in. She demanded a rabies vax test certification before I could even see or talk to the doctor, which she should have specified on the phone. We recently got back and I haven't found our dog's paperwork yet and the vet we had gone to out of state has closed. The receptionist was mean on the phone and in person! I don't recommend... read more
If you love your pet avoid this place at all costs. I never met a vet who cared less.
Updating my review The office manager called me was very nice. There was a clerical error so she refunded the $60 teaching charge, which is much appreciated.
I give my dog heart worm meds every month, like clockwork. When it comes time to renew the prescription, I have always been given the option to sign a waiver for a heart worm test, as I've been told by reputable vets that it is unnecessary to have the test if meds have been given as prescribed. Saguaro has always had that policy...until now. I called to request a new supply of Sentinel the other day, was told Saguaro no longer offers that medication and then was told to place on order through Chewy, instead. I did so, but th... read more
