I had heard good things about this clinic so trusted they would be a suitable place to turn to when we had to put our puppy down who at 9 months had cancer. My daughter was heartbroken and scheduled the appointment. She asked to pay right away and put in a room pretty quickly - but if she had not been required to pay, she would have left! There was blood on the floor of the room where she was waiting and there were multiple dogs crying in another room which was very stressful. She waited 45 minutes before the vet came in... read more

These guys might be good for emergency services as my previous review shows, but they are not a good place to go for simple Rabies shot. Rabies shots are given for free by Maricopa County so go to the Maricopa/pets website and see where and when. I didn't mind to pay a reasonable fee for the shots, and I wanted to give the business to the Saguaro Veterinary Clinic but they insisted that first I have to pay $63 for an "Office Visit" before they'll give my healthy 4 year old dog a Rabies booster (which costs additional btw).... read more

After 13 years of patronage and complete satisfaction, the folks at this clinic are done taking care of my 4 dogs, as per their owner. Last month, I had needed to bring in one (of my now three) dogs for a teeth cleaning and extraction because he wasn't eating. I was told by a fairly new employee, that I had to make a regular appointment first. I had said that I never had to do that before and her response was that is how it's done. I had an appointment at 9:45. I left at 10:30 and hadn't seen a vet. I was only needing blood drawn for valley fever test. I was told it couldn't be done without seeing a vet. I had another appointment and asked them to take the blood to send it and I would be back for the results and his physical. They refused and now I am a client of blue Cross veterinary. Wasted about 2 hours with drive time.

I moved to Arizona a little over a year ago and selected this vet for my dog. I was pleased with the doctors. They recently solved her "fainting like" episodes with heart medication. (Her blood pressure was extremely low and she has an enlarged heart.) I was very scared! She is 15 yrs old and I want her around as long as possible! This Saturday morning I called the office to have her medication refilled. I told them I needed it that day. They assured me they would call back once the doctor approved it. I thought i would try out a new vet, mistake!! I made an appointment for my two dogs at 10:15, by 10:30 I still hadn't been taken back or even talked to. I asked when we would be seen and was told there was still another person ahead of me. They had many excuses and didn't really seem to care if I stayed or left. The waiting room was tiny and filled with dogs. I will never be using this vet, the staff is unorganized and rude! The man next to me told me he was fit in ahead of me. I was the one with the appointment?

While I'm sure this is a reputable clinic, they chose to treat me poorly. I arrived 5 minutes early for a 3:00 p.m. appointment and was pretty much ignored till 3:30 when I my dog and I were brought to a room and told "they'll check you in soon". The doctor was kind to my dog and I feel like he gave her a decent albeit minimal exam. I can only assume that I did something to illicit such unprofessional treatment, my apologies. I first took my cats to this vet a year ago after moving from Portland to Scottsdale. Our first visit was ok. I didn't love the office like my old one, but thought it was ok. I called earlier this week to make an appointment to have our cat put to sleep, and was told that when we arrived we would check in and be taken back to a room immediately so our cat didn't have to sit in the waiting room.
