After 13 years of patronage and complete satisfaction, the folks at this clinic are done taking care of my 4 dogs, as per their owner. Last month, I had needed to bring in one (of my now three) dogs for a teeth cleaning and extraction because he wasn't eating. I was told by a fairly new employee, that I had to make a regular appointment first. I had said that I never had to do that before and her response was that is how it's done. I had an appointment at 9:45. I left at 10:30 and hadn't seen a vet. I was only needing blood drawn for valley fever test. I was told it couldn't be done without seeing a vet. I had another appointment and asked them to take the blood to send it and I would be back for the results and his physical. They refused and now I am a client of blue Cross veterinary. Wasted about 2 hours with drive time.

I moved to Arizona a little over a year ago and selected this vet for my dog. I was pleased with the doctors. They recently solved her "fainting like" episodes with heart medication. (Her blood pressure was extremely low and she has an enlarged heart.) I was very scared! She is 15 yrs old and I want her around as long as possible! I thought i would try out a new vet, mistake!! I made an appointment for my two dogs at 10:15, by 10:30 I still hadn't been taken back or even talked to. I asked when we would be seen and was told there was still another person ahead of me. They had many excuses and didn't really seem to care if I stayed or left. The waiting room was tiny and filled with dogs. I will never be using this vet, the staff is unorganized and rude! The man next to me told me he was fit in ahead of me. I was the one with the appointment?

While I'm sure this is a reputable clinic, they chose to treat me poorly. I arrived 5 minutes early for a 3:00 p.m. appointment and was pretty much ignored till 3:30 when I my dog and I were brought to a room and told "they'll check you in soon". The doctor was kind to my dog and I feel like he gave her a decent albeit minimal exam. I can only assume that I did something to illicit such unprofessional treatment, my apologies. I first took my cats to this vet a year ago after moving from Portland to Scottsdale. Our first visit was ok. I didn't love the office like my old one, but thought it was ok. I called earlier this week to make an appointment to have our cat put to sleep, and was told that when we arrived we would check in and be taken back to a room immediately so our cat didn't have to sit in the waiting room. We love this vet! It's a cozy little mom and pop place that is just adorable. Both doctors are very knowledgeable and don't try to trick you into buying extra services just to run up the tab. We previously went to banfield at petsmart because we didn't know any better and we always felt like we had our pockets turned inside out when we left there. Not this place. I have a puppy and this vet was conveniently located so I gave them a try for shots and a puppy check up. My first visit I had to wait 30 minutes before I was called back for the appointment. Second time the wait was 30 minutes again. The last and final time I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes. The receptionist never said a word to me or gave me any indication as to when I might be called back to see the vet. At the 45 minute mark I decided three strikes you're out and I walked out. I have to agree with Altheia ! The Vets are AWESOME !! They will talk take time to talk to you in the middle of the day if you have a question/concern, that is unheard of. But the front desk girls leave a LOT to the imagination in the way of Customer Service. Most of them are either in or act like or sound like they are in high school, they do not speak professionally or articulately at all, and it's frustrating, very frustrating.
