Saying goodbye to Saguaro is bitter sweet. We starting using Saguaro about 6 years ago for our 2 labs and Fox Hound rescue. Mike and John are equally great in their practice and their back office team is very competent and great with our boys. The issues we encountered and the reason we are taking our boys elsewhere is surrounding the front office. We spent $1000 to have a growth removed from our 13 year old lab and had his teeth cleaned. Money well spent. The last straw for me was the simple 1 minute procedure to get 1 stit... read more

The office staff is horrible, rude and mean. I sat for over 3 hours, with no explanation, after 2hours of waiting with no contact, I did ask politely how long it would take, the girl at the desk responded with a nasty mean attitude and tone. I guess she has been yelled at before for being unprofessional, so she went right for defense - which was not warranted - or how to treat a customer waiting for THAT long. I continued to be polite, and still sat quietly for 3 1/2 hours. I have all the patience in the world, I was no... read more

Great staff and overall experience with ear cropping for our Dogo Argentino. Dr Mike gave advice on the breed standard and with our dog's body shape. I would give 5 stars but Dr Mike was a bit condescending and egotistical when talking to me and my concerns about the ear crop. I know he does this frequently but this being our first time, he could have taken more time to explain and reassure us (and improve his people skills). In the end, we are VERY happy with the ear crop.

My pet died while sitting in the waiting room for over two hours. Others with appointments for nail trimming and shots got seen while my cat wailed in anguish. If you don't love your pet, take it here. It's just an euthanasia clinic, not a vets office.

I take my dogs to Saguaro for their checkups and shots. The front desk staff, vet technicians and veterinarians are all so nice and my dogs love them! Definitely doesn't hurt that they always give them treats. They're a busy clinic so I would recommend making an appointment instead of walking in if it's something for a non-emergency matter.

I had the worst experience at this vets today! I took my little guy here for an emergency to find a extremely RUDE receptionist greet us! She rolled her eyes at us, threw things across the desk, and told us the vet didn't need to see my dog. I've been coming to this vets since we got our dogs but Not anymore. I won't return there again. They just lost a customer due to this rude, inconsiderate person they have on their payroll. I don't know why people work in certain professions, (in public) if they don't like people or dogs... read more

I had heard good things about this clinic so trusted they would be a suitable place to turn to when we had to put our puppy down who at 9 months had cancer. My daughter was heartbroken and scheduled the appointment. She asked to pay right away and put in a room pretty quickly - but if she had not been required to pay, she would have left! There was blood on the floor of the room where she was waiting and there were multiple dogs crying in another room which was very stressful. She waited 45 minutes before the vet came in... read more

These guys might be good for emergency services as my previous review shows, but they are not a good place to go for simple Rabies shot. Rabies shots are given for free by Maricopa County so go to the Maricopa/pets website and see where and when. I didn't mind to pay a reasonable fee for the shots, and I wanted to give the business to the Saguaro Veterinary Clinic but they insisted that first I have to pay $63 for an "Office Visit" before they'll give my healthy 4 year old dog a Rabies booster (which costs additional btw).... read more
