Dr. K is personable and seems compassionate, but her office needs a little work. My Cat - over vaccinated - Rabies vaccines lasts 3 years or more, but here, they write the vaccine for one year. Why? A few bucks more for annual vaccines? My Dog - Misdiagnosed for "allergies" - 4ish years ago, saw a different vet who prescribed steroids and antibiotics. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. I took my 4 year old cat here because he had signs and symptoms of internal issues. The doctor said it was allergies and tried to sell me over priced food. I kept going back telling them it is not allergies, there is something seriously wrong. My cat died from a heart problem that could have been prevented. They only care about making money and not your pets!
I would never take my beloved pets here. My pet underwent a surgery I did not authorize and the doctor didn't even call me the day of surgery to go over details. During my post op visit, the doctor screams at me on top of her lungs because I did not agree with her regarding the care of my pet. She would not allow me to chaperone my pet during the exam (SCARY!!!) so decided to leave. The providers yell at not only the customers, but also their staff in front of people. Worst place ever. It used to be good until Dr. K took over. Over priced and they don't care about your pets. I didn't realize they were overcharging for services and medication until I purchased the same medication from our new vet. At Pet vet, cerenia is $56 for 4 pills, I got 8 today for the same price. They should be ashamed of themselves. Trying to make money off of concerned pet parents. I'm so glad I switched to a way better place. Not to mention, they killed my other dog last year. How much do I love Dr. Kirzenbaum? Let me count the ways... I was an instant fan years ago when I first met Dr. K as she cared for my fuzzy guy with care & tenderness. Dr Lital Kirazenbaum is the best vet my animals have been to. I have two cats and two dogs, and from general check ups and vaccines to ear infections, chipped teeth, and broken paws, Pet Vet Animal Hospital and Dr. K have been amazing. She very clearly loves the animals she's working with, and she is easy to talk to. Dr Lital Kirazenbaum killed my baby mila. She was healthy prior to her dental appointment, which started her ultimate decline they killed my Mila via Malpractice.
Expect to get ripped off beyond your wildest dreams. We paid $100+ just to be seen, then they wanted another $1100 for an x ray & blood test. The vet said my dog would most likely need an ultrasound even after the x ray, but said we can't go straight to the ultrasound, we have to spend the money on an x ray first. Service aside, the facility was trash. Couldn't even breathe in that humid & stuffy sorry excuse of a clinic with no AC. Please do yourself and your pet a favor & take them elsewhere. My 20 yr old cat was experiencing kidney failure and stopped eating. The only choice to stop his suffering was to put him to sleep. The staff at Pet Vet were VERY kind and understanding. They gave my bf and I time to be alone with him and say our goodbyes in a private room. They also let his best friend, a tiny stuffed bear, go with him so he wouldn't be alone. I'm so touched at the level of compassion and patience the staff here displays. I would recommend this hospital over and above any other. Wonderful people.
