I'm very disappointed and saddened with this clinic's new management. They do a very poor job at scheduling, giving messages to doctors and returning calls. I've scheduled appointments and arrive on time only to wait an hour to see the doctor. They always have an excuse for the wait and then when you meet with the doctor it's a quick 10 minute exam. I just adopted a puppy and found pet vet on yelp! Called to get an appointment and was seen the same day! Craig was very accommodating and helped with all of my questions! The staff and Vets were all very educated and nice to me and my pup! Happy to say this is my home vet office now! If you are looking for a new Vet to take long term care of your pet this is the place for you!
From my first phone conversation with the office staff, I was impressed with the level of care at Pet Vet. I was warmly welcomed to the practice with great care and concern for my dog's well being. Dr. Kirszenbaum conducted a thorough exam and offered guidance for follow up care. The love she has for animals is evident in her gentle and kind demeanor. Pet Vet isn't located near me, however, the quality of care is well worth the drive. I highly recommend Pet Vet!
There's a reason for all the recent 1-star reviews. This vet office will not care about your pet's well being, they are extremely money hungry. I asked why a $50 exam is now required for vaccines, I was told it is to ensure that the pet is healthy enough for the vaccine. I asked how they determine that by simply looking at my dog and performing NO tests and no one could answer my question. This place is not concerned about your pets house he'll charge you $55 for a simple vaccination because they changed their policy or ownership take your pet somewhere else
We all agree Dr. Brown was a caring, wonderful vet. He always showed compassion for our pets. Sadly, he retired and the place is not the same. I searched for a better place for my beloved dog and found great care at Nordhoff Veterinary Hospital in Chatsworth. Really nice staff and caring doctors. They and Access ER believe Dr. Perry misdiagnosed my dog's neck injury. What I remember from my visit with her was that she spent almost the entire time talking about HER neck injury. Should have read all the negative reviews!!! New management, inflated prices and unprofessional receptionist. Took my dog for her allergy shot. I was charged $30 more than the last shot, 3 months ago. Asked why such an increase. With a straight face, the male receptionist said that it is due to a manufactor increase in price. Called 2 other vets later. Pet Vet charge was $175 but the others are charging $135 for same dosage and same medicine. That's $40 more. What a rip off! 3 years ago, I brought in our brand new puppy to this vet. We saw a female vet, but I can't remember her name now. Our puppy of 4 days had vomited the night before, and she seemed lethargic so I took her in. The vet was wonderful. She checked her over and did a parvovirus test "just in case." Well, our sweet Lily did end up having parvovirus. The dishonest Breeder had sold her to us with this horrible disease. The vet and staff were so compassionate and patient.
