We have been attending this vet for over 10 years with Dr Brown as the attending physician we very happy with him as he seemed to really care about our puppies. Today we had Dr. Perry seeing our dog for a small lump and general check up. During the visit, we did not feel the same care and attention that Dr. Brown used to give. Several tests were recommended by Dr. Perry and we waited 45 minutes for them to give us the cost estimate and it totalled nearly $1000. I am so very grateful for Dr. Brown and his Staff at Pet Vet Animal Hospital in Canoga Park, Calif. My dog has been dealing with a hot spot; Dr. Brown and Staff got it under control, and she is finally on the road to recovery; Dr. Brown and his staff are extremely caring; I love them; they have hearts of gold, and they are great healers!!! Their prices are very fair, as well; I very highly recommend them!!!

Dr. Brown is the best vet anyone could ask for. We took all 3 of our dogs here from when they were puppies until they passed away at 16-17 years old. Dr. Brown and his staff are very attentive, professional and caring. Never once was one of our dogs misdiagnosed. They truly care about your pets and want to do what is best for you and them. I will bring all my pets to Dr. Brown until the day he retires. I highly recommend Pet Vet.

$50 to drain pus from a bump in our dog's side. We asked about pain medication for our old dog and they said they had to do bloodwork before issuing a prescription because of kidney concerns. While this usually makes sense, not poisoning your dog, our dog is 16 years old, far beyond the expected age of her breed, and has gotten her bloodwork done twice I think for this medicine and her kidneys have been fine both times. I was standing in the lobby of Pet Vet when the man who posted that awful picture that says Worst Vet Ever was in the lobby being abusive and yelling at the receptionist. Dr Brown was trying to reason with him but he was NASTY and beyond rude. I have been taking my dog Scotty here for 8 years and everyone is extremely professional and very loving to the animals and clients

The two stars are for Dr Brown who is awesome, but the zero are for Dr Perry who is one of those money hungry doctors who will charge you and make your pet worse. We went with a simple stomach ache and she charged $600 for blood work and antibiotics without any results yet. Who gives their pet medicine without knowing whats wrong with your pet. Now our pet won't eat anything and still no results from the blood work. Wait for Dr Brown if you can, he knows what he's talking about and won't needlessly charge you for no reason.

I have brought all my dogs here and have felt the love the doctors and stiff have for the animals that walk in their door. I recently brought a stray in that needed a lot of care. The team rushed to his aid to give him the necessary attention he needed. The doctor went above and beyond to help us get him a groomed next store. The bill was completely reasonable for their services...I'm not sure but I feel he highly discounted his services. Either or...great prices.
