Looking for a new veterinarian. So sad that Dr. Beder & Dr. Brown have retired from this practice. Pet Vet used to be the best veterinarian practice in town. Not so now, I've gone to them for the last 18 years. I had an unfortunate experience taking my 13 year old kitty in for help with an infected toe. I dealt with Dr. Perry. She was cold. My dog was a patient here for 7 years, and I loved Dr. Brown and Dr. Taketani. I took my dog for shots last week and was told he had to have blood work first. The bloodwork alone cost over $300. Total bill was around $400. Was not impressed with the new doctors. I asked for a quote for teeth cleaning. They said they would email a quote. After two weeks and no response, i called, twice, and finally was quoted almost $400. Wont be returning.
We love Dr Kirszenbaum. We have been with her for over 7 yrs for our pets. Not only is she the best vet we have ever had, she has a great bedside manner and has always worked with us to find the best long term solutions for our pets. Dr Penny. Not a fan. I used to come here when Dr Brown loved him. It's shame how a doctor can prescribe medicines with out even examination. Worst bedside manor. Tried to sell me on unnecessary stuff. When I declined she left the examine room , never said thank you for coming. I would never come back here. Be aware
Had my animals cared for at Pet Vet for many years, always to satisfactory results, with what I generally felt were fair prices for services rendered. Unlike many of the overpriced and gouging veterinary establishments who have increased their bottom line with (often) unnecessary lab work, and/or charging for services which were often included in days past, Pet Vet held the line with honest assessments and pricing. I'm a HUGE fan of Dr. Kirszenbaum. My dog has been her patient for several years now, so when I heard she now had her own hospital, I made sure to follow her. Dr. Kirszenbaum is thorough in her exams and addresses all concerns honestly and compassionately. My dog has a few health issues that requires cooperation with another specialty veterinarian at times, and Dr. Kirszenbaum is always so helpful in collaboration when needed. I followed Dr. Kirszenbaum from her previous location. She is one of the best vets in LA and I've been to many with my various pets over the years. I currently have two boxers, both with health conditions, and have found Dr. Kirszenbaum to be very thorough, knowledgeable and kind! She always takes time to explain everything as I have many questions. I never feel rushed out due to another appointment. My dogs love her as did my cats who have since passed away. I recommend this animal hospital . I have 2 awesome dogs . Are visit dr Brown clinic . Dr Brown very knowledgeable .explain every detail what my pets need at the appointment time. Staff are nice and friendly. Definitely I recommend Pet Vet hospital.
We use too take our dogs there when we leaved in reseda lately my dog snoopy got sick and I said too my wife take him to pet vet doctor there is very reasonable price we leave far now so my wife took our dog there and this vet lady started too scare my wife and made all kind of nonsense exam too snoopy my wife came home with a 1048.00$ bill and still this did not cover helping snoopy in any shape or form .
