I need to bring my cat from Taiwan to California, and was suggested by a government website to talk to local Vets to understand what to be cautious during the traveling and importing process. I really love this vet hospital. The staff is super nice and accommodating and the doctors treat my dog like family, which of course, is the way they should Be treated! My pup has been called handsome, a prince, a star, and of course, the classic "good boy." This vet was recommended to me by my brother. My dog had a vet at Mid Valley, but we didn't like him bc he kept pushing unwanted surgery when our dog was a puppy. I've been a returning customer & I love Dr. Brown, I believe he's compassionate & caring & kind... but you are the company you keep & for the last few years, I have consistently been disappointed with his representative TERESA. She's the most insensitive & discouraging person for the job she has. Her tone is always demeaning & belittling. We have been attending this vet for over 10 years with Dr Brown as the attending physician we very happy with him as he seemed to really care about our puppies. Today we had Dr. Perry seeing our dog for a small lump and general check up. During the visit, we did not feel the same care and attention that Dr. Brown used to give. Several tests were recommended by Dr. Perry and we waited 45 minutes for them to give us the cost estimate and it totalled nearly $1000. I am so very grateful for Dr. Brown and his Staff at Pet Vet Animal Hospital in Canoga Park, Calif. My dog has been dealing with a hot spot; Dr. Brown and Staff got it under control, and she is finally on the road to recovery; Dr. Brown and his staff are extremely caring; I love them; they have hearts of gold, and they are great healers!!! Their prices are very fair, as well; I very highly recommend them!!!
Dr. Brown is the best vet anyone could ask for. We took all 3 of our dogs here from when they were puppies until they passed away at 16-17 years old. Dr. Brown and his staff are very attentive, professional and caring. Never once was one of our dogs misdiagnosed. They truly care about your pets and want to do what is best for you and them. I will bring all my pets to Dr. Brown until the day he retires. I highly recommend Pet Vet.
$50 to drain pus from a bump in our dog's side. We asked about pain medication for our old dog and they said they had to do bloodwork before issuing a prescription because of kidney concerns. While this usually makes sense, not poisoning your dog, our dog is 16 years old, far beyond the expected age of her breed, and has gotten her bloodwork done twice I think for this medicine and her kidneys have been fine both times.
