I've been coming here off and on for four years. I moved to Capitol Hill for a while and recently moved back to west Seattle with a newly acquired shiba inu puppy. I was shocked that Dr. Griffith remembered me and my cat, Alex Cottonballs, another patient! Everyone is so friendly and I've never felt forced or pressured for paying for extra services. My puppy was recently neutered here and received great care. We tend to come early Saturday morning and only once have had to wait more than 15 minutes and that was due to a kitt... read more
I have been going here since before Dr Dean and Dr Griffith took over the business. The staff are top notch, no flakiness, no insincerity, they like their work and love the animals. I have had to PTS two cats and three dogs due to old age, and they have been the kindest and most sympathetic people throughout that awful, painful process. I've also had a dog with two torn ACLs- whenever I come in, even with another animal, they ask me about her. Yeah the prices aren't the cheapest around, and sometimes you have to wait a bit b... read more
This is the BEST vet center for your dogs and cats. I have a Purebred American Bulldog 9 month old name Gimli and I wouldn't trust no other vets to touch him. They have the Friendliest Staff. Gimli loves going to see them he even has a gf there. The rooms are Immaculate. The only downside is the parking which they have increased it some its just hard to get out if its busy and u have a big SUV. But it is still the best!!!!
I have been bringing felines to this Pet Care Center since the 1980's! Although I live 16 miles away, it is well worth the travel to bring my now 11-year-old cat to these competent, kind, and trustworthy care-givers. Both veterinarians and their highly-competent staff genuinely care about creatures and their "pet parents." I also appreciate being able to walk in, and not having to make an appointment. The Pet Care Center continues to be a remarkable practice, and I am so thankful and grateful to have them for Cassie... read more
This is a truly awesome veterinary practice. When we first moved to West Seattle, we weren't sure where to take our two cats, so we gave the Pet Care Center a try. Our experience was very positive, and their prices were aligned with how much our previous vet (in Capitol Hill) had cost. So when we adopted our puppy, it felt like a no-brainer to come here. Our pup Hank has had a few challenges in his short life, including some eye infections, a UTI, and a case of Demodex mange that it would have taken us a long time to catc... read more
After a poor experience at another vet a few weeks prior, we took our newly rescued dog to Pet Care Center this morning and had a WONDERFUL experience. All the staff were kind, caring, and spent a lot of time with our dog and with us. They were thorough and gave us a ton of helpful information. They were knowledgeable and not pushy, as we had experienced before. Our Bella was well taken care of and I am really thankful we found a good vet to take our babies to!
I came in because I found what looked like a flea on my indoor dog. I was freaking out about the thought of needing a terminator, etc and the tech on the phone talked me through my options. I ended up driving down for an OTC treatment and a chemical for using in my house. I am so appreciative!
Drs. Griffith, Dean and their staff are wonderful! They are very kind, caring and patient. Our cat goes crazy at the vet, and they are always so patient and nice despite his temper. The wait is never very long, and they treat our pets like family. They always call after visits to see how our dog and cat are doing. I wish our family practice providers were as good!
I took our rescued rat terrier mix here to get her nails trimmed. She hates having her nails done and actually screams and tries to bite groomers. They don't take appointments and there was a little bit of a wait, but I expected that. I hung out in the waiting room while the tech took Ava back. I heard one little fit and then nothing. It took maybe 30 minutes or so because the tech actually filed her nails because that was less stressful. Cost was $17 and her nails were nice and short. I like how they took the time to... read more
