Expensive and will try to sell you on unnecessarily procedures. I took my dog for an allergy shot and they gave him a $170 allergy shot without my permission or letting me know the price. The shot is only designed to last less than a month. This vet is entrainment and will nickel and dime you. They do not practice in good faith. Do not go to this vet! The vet we had didn't even have their education from the United States.

Dr. Rebekah Byrd saved our bird Cherry's life and I'm forever grateful. A week ago, we had no clue what was wrong when our bird when she suddenly started seizing multiple times a day; the situation was grave. I have been coming here for about 4yrs. The doctors are great, the issue I have had coming here is no communication on billing. This has not only happen once but 3 separate time. The first time the bill was so so high and did so many test that I did not give consent and then charges me. I did let them know moving forward they need to speak to the customer before doing test because some people cant afford thousand of dollars. Was referred to this place because I was very concerned about my juvenile chameleons eye. Because it was Saturday, they were over booked and could only squeeze me in for an emergency visit. I did have to pay extra but, honestly it was worth it for the peace of mind that my chameleon was being taken care of. The staff was wonderful, friendly and comforting. I've been here twice now for 2 of my cats and Dr. Ramirez is really the best there is! She is super informative, very knowledgeable, and obviously cares for the animals that she treats. It was so easy to make an appointment, even during this pandemic, and she made sure to keep us updated on our baby's status. She is very thorough and I trust that she didn't miss a single thing. When it comes to my pets, I am as high maintenance as it gets. We have been visiting Northern Oaks for a few years. I have several pets and they've always received excellent care. The office is clean, the entire staff is caring and patient. They don't let details slip through the cracks. My pets are my family and I am obsessed with their well being. We tried several vets in the past but I never felt like there was a connection until we went to Northern Oaks. When I called for an emergency appointment to have my dog seen due to breathing issues, it was almost 1200 pm on Saturday and the vet and staff didn't want to give me an appointment. The only thing the receptionist cared about was if my dog was a current patient there and when I said No, she immediately answered " we are not taking any appointments today"...I rushed my dog to Blue Pearl Emergency since no other vets near by was open!!
