Do NOT take your birds here. Vets lacked knowledge of avian care and expressed no concern or compassion regarding situation. Receptionist was unbelievably rude and unhelpful. Received records and saw that receptionist LIED in her notes about what happened. Unbelievable. Worst treatment at a vet clinic and just customer service in general. Spent over $600 for labwork and xrays only to leave crying due to ridiculously rude staff. STAY AWAY!

We have been taking our big dog Ranger there since 2011 when we rescued him. The only time another vet has looked at him is on on emergency when this clinic was closed. We trust Dr Bird. She has never given us bad advice. She has aging dogs and has helped us restore quality of life to our aging big boy.

We have been with Dr. Byrd for close to 20 years. It was gut wrenching and painful that she let a first year vet work on our pup while both her and Dr. Martinez were both on site when we came in as an emergency, and I had no idea that she was on site. When I found out both her and Dr. Martinez were there, I was crushed. We spent every other day getting laser treatments for our pup, totaling 13 days. Dr. Byrd and her staff are knowledgable and compassionate. Our dachshund fell ill last week. Dr. Byrd's associate saw her and referred us to a kidney specialist. After it was decided that nothing could be done to help her, and after further consultation with Dr. Byrd, we brought our dog in the next morning to euthanize her. I have been so happy with this place. I don't have to wait long, and the waiting area is clean and not crowded. Complementary nail trims during visits is a bonus too. I've worked with Dr.Byrd and she's thorough, great with animals, and listens to my concerns. The vet techs are great too. Prices are a bit higher than my last Vet but well worth it!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE My sweet and beautiful kitty would still be alive if I wouldn't have brought her to this place. I brought her in for a hair cut because she gets matted once in a while. From the very first phone call I placed for the appointment, they brought up putting her under anesthesia for her hair cut which has never been needed before. I have been taking my fur babies to Northern Oaks since 2008 and my kids were only 8-10 weeks old. The Doctors have always provided excellent care and advice. The offices "used" to be a joy to take my kids and I have always been assured that their issues/ailments would be well taken care of. The issue I have is with the changes in the front office personnel. I used to enter and be greeted. Just had post visit for two year old pup. Extremely customer service focused; from front desk, vet tech and vet. Did not rush to get you in and out. Took time to ask pertinent questions regarding pet, home environment, eating habits, etc. Answered all of my questions. If you are searching for a caring vet, I highly recommend this establishment.
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone in fact-RUN away quickly. I was seeking a new vet and stumbled across this place. My pet's health is very important to me and I trust veterinaries to tell me what is best for them. I made the original appointment and only reason for the appointment for annual blood work for my dog.
