We have been going Muddy Branch Vet since they opened. I think we were one of their first families. We joined them with two Bassets and now more than 20 year later we have brought them the newest member of our family a beautiful Pomsky. Our current Basset has given his stamp of approval to Muddy Branch and so has the new puppy. Everyone who works there is kind and understanding through the life events that happens with pets. We would never dream of going anywhere else.

Our family cat, Monty, recently passed away very suddenly and the Muddy Branch Vet Center crew were really wonderful to us during the process of his demise. Getting emergency appointments was super easy, they were always incredibly kind and accommodating, and they did not force our cat to suffer in order to do a ton of tests and charge us a lot of money (which we've seen other vets do). I came to Muddy Branch Vet based on Yelp reviews. Glad to have found them. My cats have seen Dr. Katz and Dr. Challberg- I'd highly recommend both of them. Very attentive and caring. It was also easy to make appointments.

Took my very nervous pup here and had an easy appointment! Dr. Katz is very patient and explains EVERYTHING thoroughly. Any question that came to mind, he walked me though. I will definitely be using this practice for Bean as long as I live here.

horrible rip off on boarding, place charges for 3 days when they have had our dog less than 48 hours, make sure you ask how their calendar works because it is set up to rip people off. also the vet loves to tack on superflous charges with every visit. their business model is anything but customer friendly

Since I inherited my cat about 1 1/2 years ago I have been visiting Muddy Branch Vet. I chose it because Romeo does not like the car and the practice is less than a mile from my house. But everyone has been very nice and Romeo is pretty calm now about going. It is also easy to schedule an appointment which I appreciate because my work schedule varies.

So this will be my last time going to Muddy Branch Vet for labwork or vaccines. I felt totally swindled when the vet told me the lyme vaccine was going to be $35 and the second round is free. When I agreed to that price and he administered the shot, the clerk gave me a bill for $75+ and that each round of vaccine is $35. Obviously couldn't do anything about it since he already gave my dog the shot. I was unhappy with my previous vet as they were not "pitbull" friendly. I was referred to MBVC by a friend who has a dog rescue. I have been more then happy with MBVC since I switched 3 or 4 years ago. They have always been accommodating when I have had a one off emergency and need one of my dogs to be seen ASAP. I had the unfortunate experience of needing to put my dog to sleep.
