We brought our new 2year old Schnauzer in to be spayed. During the physical exam Dr Katz noticed some neurological problems and suggesgted we get her checked by a neurologist or take her back to the breeder. We had a physical a few days earlier by another Vet and nothing was noticed. The neurologist agreed with Dr. Katz, but we decided to keep her since no one could predict the future. I'm a cat breeder, but PulEASE don't hold that against me! I am one of the few, the fabulous, the good one's! In any case, I have tried just about every vet and vet hospital and emergency center in the DC Metro area, and other than the potential for a long wait, or having to deal with young, in-experienced front desk personnel, this is the CHEAPEST and BEST place for sound advise and medical treatment! My experiences at this vet range between ok and great. No major complaints except the cost. This is the most expensive vet I've been to in the area and every time I go to settle the bill after an appointment I have a mini heart attack. Preparing myself in advance doesn't help as it always ends up being much higher.

I am completely dissatisfied With the way they treated my pet and I. My dog has had a history of UTI and there is a specific antibiotic that works for her. my usual vet was not available, so I brought her to this vet for the first time. Unfortunately, this was a terrible and costly experience for us. We even provided the necessary office notes from a previous vet showing the specific antibiotic that works. i am Dr Parvez Bakshi & my wife Mary Rogers have an association with Dr Katz Muddy branch Vetenary center for over 22 years. Dr Katz is one of the best doctor in this field . His diagnosis and treatment is accurate. The staff is helpful always. MBVC is one of the best centers in Montgomery co. I recommend MBVC to all vetenary diseases to consult with Dr Katz to check with him and the clinic for consultations before going elsewhere. This place has always come through for me and my dog, Apollo. It can be a little hard to get a same day appointment, but that's honestly a good thing, if you think about it. Their staff is personable, courteous and their vets do a very thorough job.

Rehabilitation - pets can truly benefit from it (for various reasons, as people do), and I had the great good fortune to get the highly recommended rehab and recovery services at MBVC for my 11-year-old sheltie, Gabriel (who, when only 3 years old, was diagnosed with a degenerative joint disease). I have been to many vets in Montgomery County, looking for the right fit. All of them have some good qualities, but some of them just might not be the perfect match for a client. I wish I could give more stars as Dr. Chalberg & the techs are awesome!!!! However, my experience with the front desk's lack of empathy when I called up during an emergency situation, made me realize I should look for another practice.
