Please do your research before taking your dog to see Dr. Penn at Horizon Animal Hospital!!!!! We brought our Golden Retriever, Leia, in for an ultrasound to investigate her vomiting. Instead of clear answers, we were given vague information and pressured into an urgent surgery. When we asked for a second opinion, Dr. Penn became aggressive and warned that delaying could be fatal. If I could give zero stars, I would. It has taken me months to find the strength to write this, but after processing everything that happened with Dr. Penn and his office, I feel it's important to share. The staff at Horizon Animal Hospital are the best. They each care for your pet as if it's their own. Our dogs we've had over the last 9 yrs we've been coming here have all received the best care. We've been seen by each of them and recently Dr Emily has been helping our dog with acupuncture for year for her arthritis. She doesn't need any pain meds or anti inflammatory meds. Pursuant to all the positive reviews I've read about the veterinary division of this business . I tried their grooming services. All I can say is DO NOT let KAREN work on your dog. She boasts she has so much experience but at the end of the day she is below par and has no customer service skills.

I've been going to Horizon for a couple years now. The staff is always friendly and the Exam rooms and weight area are always very clean. I never seem to have to wait for very long.. dr Patterson always takes her time and answers all of my questions.

Dr. Sean Penn and his staff are truly outstanding. Entirely professional and knowledgeable, they have taken care of our two mixed Labrador/Shepard boys for over 7-years. We nearly lost Huck due to a tumor of sorts but Dr. Penn's earnest exploratory surgery saved him. Penn continued to research it and discuss this with other experts to give Huck the best success. We are very pleased with his technicians and their skill level. You can be confident in bringing the pets you love here.

We highly recommend Horizon Animal Hospital. They have taken care of three of our pups over many years. Everything from routine visits to surgery. The entire staff and doctors are always kind and caring. We are so glad we found this office many years ago.
