Dr. Penn and his staff are wonderful! We had an emergency with one of our fur babies and they were able to get us in immediately!! They made us feel at ease with our choice to use them and went above expectation to make our nervous fur baby(and myself)feel comfortable. The facility is clean and the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. We took a chance based on my sisters recommendation because we were tired of being grossly overcharged by our usual vet, we will now be taking all of our babies here. Their front of the office staff needs either better pay or sensitivity training when you are in crisis. Never trust them with end of life issues. Shame on you Horizon! Shame on you.

We did not have an appointment as it was an urgent care/emergency vet visit for our dog Lucy, who could not stop throwing up. Horizon Animal Hospital was one of two vet hospitals that were even open on a Sunday so we chose Horizon based on reviews online and here I am leaving a review! They were very accommodating and got us in right away, they did inform us right way that it would be 10 dollars more than a normal vet visit since it was considered an emergency which was fine. Very poor service. Went in Friday afternoon with my dog who seems to have kennel cough. They refused to see us but was happy to make an appointment several days later. The well being of their patients don't seem to be the highest priority.

We were referred to this vet in an emergency. They were quick to respond to a beat up dog, and went the extra mile in care. I knew leaving the dog there she would have the best care possible. They were amazing!!

We have been boarding our pup here for the last 1 1/2 years and have been very happy. He is well taken care of and always comes home happy and healthy. We have also used them for daycare when we have people coming to the house or are going to be gone all day. I'm so happy that we found such a great place close to home!

My family and I recently moved to the Scottsdale area and brought our dogs to Horizon which is close by, and I'm so glad we did. The staff is very friendly and the facility modern and clean. They almost always have availability, even for last minute appointments and are very accommodating. The doctors are very knowledgable and take their time during exams and make sure to answer any and all questions you may have. This is such a compassionate place. We sadly had to euthanize our beloved 20 year old cat. We were taken to a beautiful private room where we could spend time with her in private as we went through this difficult process. The staff was so wonderful and accommodating and explained all of our options that made a very sad day easier. I recommend this wonderful clinic to anyone with a beloved pet.
