We have been going to Horizon for almost a year and to say we are satisfied with the care our pets receive and have received is an understatement. We discovered Horizon through Angie's List and, although they're in Scottsdale and we are in Peoria, they're well worth the trip. I went here 5 years ago vet and staff were so great. I took one of my other cats there recently and sadly he was very sick. I had to put him down. A very nice room to say goodbye to him . My complaint is for the front desk staff. No compassion and no people skills. They need some training. Years ago that front desk staff was top notch. I probably won't be going back with my other fur babies. Or recommend to others.
Dr. Penn and his staff are wonderful! We had an emergency with one of our fur babies and they were able to get us in immediately!! They made us feel at ease with our choice to use them and went above expectation to make our nervous fur baby(and myself)feel comfortable. The facility is clean and the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. Their front of the office staff needs either better pay or sensitivity training when you are in crisis. Never trust them with end of life issues. Shame on you Horizon! Shame on you.
We did not have an appointment as it was an urgent care/emergency vet visit for our dog Lucy, who could not stop throwing up. Horizon Animal Hospital was one of two vet hospitals that were even open on a Sunday so we chose Horizon based on reviews online and here I am leaving a review! They were very accommodating and got us in right away, they did inform us right way that it would be 10 dollars more than a normal vet visit since it was considered an emergency which was fine. Very poor service. Went in Friday afternoon with my dog who seems to have kennel cough. They refused to see us but was happy to make an appointment several days later. The well being of their patients don't seem to be the highest priority.
We were referred to this vet in an emergency. They were quick to respond to a beat up dog, and went the extra mile in care. I knew leaving the dog there she would have the best care possible. They were amazing!!
For over 20 years I have trusted Dr. Beth with my animals and have not been disappointed Her attention to each pet is compassionate and spot on. THANKX LOVE U
We have been boarding our pup here for the last 1 1/2 years and have been very happy. He is well taken care of and always comes home happy and healthy. We have also used them for daycare when we have people coming to the house or are going to be gone all day. I'm so happy that we found such a great place close to home!
