Everybody at Horizon is just wonderful. Stephanie is about the sweetest receptionist in the world with Sonia being a close second. But the compassion and level of care is what makes them second to none. I never feel gouged when I leave and have gotten to the point that I don't even ask what its going to cost before any procedures (not that I am advising that). Horizon Animal Hospital is flat out AMAZING! Each and every member of the staff takes an interest in your pets health and well being. It's always easy to get an appointment as they are open seven days a week. I leave all our visits feeling as though all my questions and concerns have been addressed. I simply cannot recommend Horizon Animal Hospital enough!

Awful service. Told me that my dog had reverse sneezing but I took her to another vet and said she has a problem with her heart. The vets do not know what they are doing. Have had SEVERAL Bad experiences and incorrect diagnoses. Stay away

When my 16 year old cat needed an abdominal ultrasound, I was depressed for days because I didn't know when I would be able to afford to get him one. After calling around at a few animal hospitals, I finally found an ultrasound I could afford at Horizon. The woman on the phone (Sonya) was so kind and patient with me and the rest of the staff are pleasant as well. My dogs got stuck by a Jumping Cholla on Saturday. One of them had gotten them in her mouth. I took them to Horizon and they took great care of them. Because we are from out of town, they had no records on my dogs, but took awesome care of them nonetheless. Needless to say, I think we have found our Scottsdale vet when we are in town.

THIS IS A REVIEW OF HORIZON ANIMAL HOSPITAL'S BOARDING SERVICE, NOT THEIR VETERINARY SERVICE. Initially I was very happy to find this place for boarding our dog. I was glad to find a kennel that was open on Sunday's, the day we were flying home, so our dog did not need to stay an extra night away from home. The positive reviews were comforting as well. The front desk staff was loving and kind to our dog when she was dropped off and picked up. They were welcoming of my phone call during her stay to inquire of her well being. ... read more

The staff at Horizon are very professional and willing to answer all of your questions. The facilities are modern and clean as well. I have been taking my two small dogs here for years and can't think of anything negative to say.

I'm always wary of trying a new vet, especially because one of my dogs has special needs. After much research I decided on Horizon Animal Hospital. I am SO glad I found them! The support staff is very helpful and friendly. I've seen most of the vets in the practice, and they are all patient and helpful. If I had to recommend one vet in particular--hands down, Dr. Glover. She is fantastic. As someone who treats their dogs like their children (as I'm sure most of us do), it was a relief to find a place like Horizon.
