We recently had to put to sleep our 21 year old cat to sleep. It was on a Sunday and we came to Horizon Animal Hospital. I can't say enough good things about their comfort room, staff, Vet and just the entire process! They made such an awful time in our lives soo much better. They made our beautiful paw print and sent us a sympathy card. Excellent care was given to our precious cat and our family!! Thank you sooo much!

We've boarded our dog here and we see the vets. They're always so kind and accommodating. They also follow up and call to check on our dog. I appreciate them and would definitely recommend.

Open on Saturday and Sunday and only charge for an emergency if they are completely booked. Even when you pay for an emergency visit it's reasonable. Absolutely love this place and my animals love it as well. Extremely clean environment nice waiting area with free drinks. Staff is helpful and friendly. Vet and vet techs are some of the best I have encountered. They take all the time you need with you and your pet. You can tell they love animals with the way they interact with them.

First visit and I don't fully know how to feel about this place. My cat and I came in for a health check up (so he can go on a flight). While we were there, I also wanted to get him microchipped. The staff were all nice and caring. The vet seemed somewhat nervous around my cat; which is weird since he is super friendly, and was acting as such during the entire check up process. Dr. Penn is an incredible DVM. I have been to three vets prior to finding him and this practice. He is brilliant, Kind, and answers all questions. My cat was having such difficulty with his mouth and the previous vets were nothing short of awful. Dr. Penn explained what was wrong, performed a cleaning, did extractions. He took extra steps prior to the procedure, when I picked up my cat one of the techs sat down and talked with me gave me the pain medications. Been going here 12 years, have seen all the vets working here and very happy with them all. I live in Mesa but still drive over because of the care they give.

I cannot enough to express my gratitude for all of the loving team members here at Horizon. My chihuahua, Dolce, got very sick back on April and would have been gone had it not been for the kindness of these people. I was very surprised when I was told my otherwise healthy dog had a blood cell issue and didn't know where to turn. Long story short, she ended up needing two blood transfusions and I was told by two ER vets (not here) to put her down. I cannot compliment all the staff members enough, the facility is always so clean and welcoming . I was new to the area two years ago and they took great care of my boy when he was living and when he passed of liver cancer. They were kind, went above and beyond to make sure I got everything I needed to remember my boy and they checked up on me to see how I was doing after my boy passed. Boarded the dog while she was in heat. They cared for in every way and put up with my daily visits. Very kind people, great care and prices comparable with alternatives.
