I have had many cats, even very sick cats it takes time for the dying process, sometimes many hours. I had a cat that would not eat, but otherwise doing ok, walking around. I took the cat to HP at 2 p.m and they said to leave her, which I did, they called at 4 p.m to report she had died. I was shocked. This cat was not anywhere near death at all. I was referred to Highland Park Animal Hospital by one of the veterinary specialists in Dallas as a place that might be a good fit for me and my little Molly who has been diagnosed with cancer and undergoing chemo. I attended an Open House recently and was so impressed with the new hospital and everyone I met. They were all very welcoming and obviously enthusiastic and dedicated to giving the very best care. I took my dog here for years when we lived in Dallas, and they were wonderful! After a minor procedure, the staff would text me pictures of her so I knew she was doing well. Dr. Dixon and Dr. Wright were both great with her. When she was sick and had to stay overnight once, Dr. Dixon called me with an update, and again a few days later to see how she was doing. We just moved, and I'm hoping or next vet is as good as they were. I would recommend them to anyone.

These doctors and techs are the absolute BEST - you can not find another facility any better. Some member of my family has gone here for over 30 years (me only 4), and they have treated our dogs like family. I have only the most positive regard for this facility. When my Marshall had to have his "big boy" surgery, and I called ALL of the time, they were kind and gracious and answered all of my questions with total grace and patience.

So happy to have found our Dallas vet so soon after moving here. The employees and doctors here are so friendly and definitely show a true love for animals the instant you walk through the door. Super clean facilities with a groomer and day camp conveniently next door!! Looking forward to many years with this group!

( SAVE YOUR TIME GO TO PRESTON RD ANIMAL HOSPITAL) I recently adopted a beautiful 2 month old fur baby from the HSNT. (I reside in Garland, but made the drive to Fort Worth for the precious boy) With this adoption came some information about a free vet appointment within 10 days of his adoption. I called this location on the day I adopted Sam as it is one of the only ones on the list that is any where within my location. Just adopted a dog so I brought her in to Highland Park Animal Hospital. Such a great decision! The facility was clean, the staff was so helpful and knowledgable and Dr. Henry and Stephanie answered a billion of my questions. Will definitely keep bringing my dog here and you would be smart to do the same!!

I have taken my two cats here for 14 years and highly recommend this clinic. When I had to have my cat put down recently, the doctors and staff at this clinic went way above and beyond the call of duty. I was so impressed with their kindness and concern, and will always be grateful for their support during one of the saddest times of my life. If I ever get another pet, HPAC will be the only clinic I would consider using.

I am fostering through a local rescue who rescued a dog from a kill shelter and it was taken here to HPAC. I was scheduled to pick him up and I was very unimpressed with how the pick up went. Perhaps I am naive about how rescue dogs in animal clinics are viewed but I expected more. I at least expected decency. When I arrived I was given a bunch of loose papers with 2 animal tags and told I could go around out back to the back door and wait for him. Mind you its 4 pm in the Texas sun.
