Beautiful, large spacious hospital with fantastic doctors and even cuter pets! Quality pricing despite it being a Highland Park Animal Hospital. Love taking my German Shepherd here.
I took my dog here for many years. Dr. Dixon was our favorite. When it was time to let my dog go, they were very understanding and respectful. They are more expensive but the location was convenient for me and they were very accommodating and friendly.
I can't say enough good about this clinic. The stsff are very nice and friendly. My kitties see Dr. Vargo. She is very good about answering my questions when I email.
Highland Park Animal Hospital took such good care of my new puppy. As a rookie dog owner, I was nervous about leaving my sick dog overnight and into the next day. Thankfully, Dr. Hudson and Dr. Vargo were nice enough to keep me updated throughout the day as they treated my pup. If you're wondering if HPAH is overpriced because of the ritzy location, I'm here to tell you that what they charge is standard and affordable. Thank you, HPAH!
I am so happy bringing my fur baby to HPAH. I originally was going to Hillside and was not happy there, but it was close so I dealt with it. Thankfully, I met Dr. Glen Hudson and started going to Highland Park Animal Hospital. I wish I had switched sooner! My dog used to be terrified to go to the vet. He knew the parking lot at Hillside and would FREAK OUT. Now, he gets excited when we pull up to HPAH! I NEVER thought that would happen. Dr. Hudson knows the needs of your pet and treats them like they are his own. He is hones... read more
I have been taking my cats to Highland Park Animal Hospital for nearly a decade now after I adopted a cat through them and a coworker--and I have lived in Arlington this entire time. That alone should show how pleased I am with the service because going up 30 and 75 with a car of screaming cats is not something I would do if I could avoid it. What sealed it, though, was when I had to have that same cat euthanized due to illness and they were very kind and compassionate. She had stayed there for about a week and they called a... read more
I have had many cats, even very sick cats it takes time for the dying process, sometimes many hours. I had a cat that would not eat, but otherwise doing ok, walking around. I took the cat to HP at 2 p.m and they said to leave her, which I did, they called at 4 p.m to report she had died. I was shocked. This cat was not anywhere near death at all. They did something to her and would not tell me. She was only 2 years old. Their story of respiratory failure did not add up. Something happened to her and I will never know, I will... read more
I was referred to Highland Park Animal Hospital by one of the veterinary specialists in Dallas as a place that might be a good fit for me and my little Molly who has been diagnosed with cancer and undergoing chemo. I attended an Open House recently and was so impressed with the new hospital and everyone I met. They were all very welcoming and obviously enthusiastic and dedicated to giving the very best care. Molly and I had our first appointment with Dr. Gretchen Wright this week and I was touched by her compassion towards u... read more
I took my dog here for years when we lived in Dallas, and they were wonderful! After a minor procedure, the staff would text me pictures of her so I knew she was doing well. Dr. Dixon and Dr. Wright were both great with her. When she was sick and had to stay overnight once, Dr. Dixon called me with an update, and again a few days later to see how she was doing. We just moved, and I'm hoping or next vet is as good as they were. I would recommend them to anyone.
